CSI Challenge #42
A Special Moment

Hello everyone. Hope you are all having a great weekend.
I have just finished my layout for challenge #42 for CSI.
Before I go on I must apologise for the quality of this photo,
unfortunately it is all I have & I can't go back in time & retake it!!!
Hopefully my layout will help make up for that.

Love this colour combo. Debbie who runs CSI, just
keeps coming up with better & better challenges all the time.

For this weeks challenge for my "Testimony" I have
used two things from the list.
#1.  I have made a list of twelve things that I cannnot live
without, at this point of my life. I think this list would change
as you go through life & have different priorities at different ages.
#2.  I have added a little flower to my journal tag/spot.

For my "Evidence" I have used four things.
#1.  I have used some circles tucked under the edge of my photos.
#2.  Flowers (from Green Tara of course)
#3.  Texture. I have created a textured background using various mediums.
#4.  Polka Dots. I have stamped some on my background.

This pinkish/salmon colour is actually more reddish in real life
which is a little closer to the colour combo.
It looks more pink in these pics!!

My chipboard Flourish, Lacy Border & Circles Frames  are all
 from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

In this pic you can see the textures on my background
& some of the stamping.

Well thats all for today.
Until next time.

Hanging Bird Cage
Decorated with lots of Green Tara
Flowers & Ribbons

For my second DT project this month for the Green Tara blog,
I thought I would do something
a little different. Now I have to admit I don't do a lot of
"Beyong the Page" but when I saw this gorgeous
"shabby" Hanging Bird Cage,
I just couldn't wait to get started.
I thought it would make a lovely present for someone special.
This project, I have to admit, was really soooooo easy.
I just got out all my white Green Tara flowers & started.
I wanted to keep it all in whites with just a "kiss of green".

I have used one of the gorgeous Green Tara ribbons, a
 "Satin Edged Organza"
Ooops, before I forget, a friend of mines hubby,
Kent Nguyen,
 photographed this for me.
I am not the best at photographing things like this,
& he is such a great local photographer.
Thanks Kent xo

All of these flowers & also the little Velvet Leaves
are all from Green Tara too.

If you want to know any of the names etc of any of these products
I have listed them all over on the Green Tara blog,
I hope you will visit the Green Tara blog sometime,
they have a great Design Team, who you probably know
most of & they are always coming up with such great ideas.
Green Tara would also love you to visit them on

Well thats it from me today.
Until next time.

My Green Tara DT. Reveal

Hi everyone. Just thought I would share my DT reveal which went
up on the Green Tara blog today.
I actually did this layout a year ago but I was never happy with it.
Soooo I totally pulled it apart, took everything off except for the frame.
I wanted to use these Green Tara "Crystal Sprays" & so  I thought I
would indulge myself & do a real "Glitzy  Glam" girly page.
Now I am finally happy with it.
Does anyone else ever do this, or  am I the only crazy one???

You can see some of the Crystal Sprays in this photo
tucked in with my flower cluster.

All of these flowers & leaves are from Green Tara.
I have added some little gold accents to them to
keep with the whole "Glam" theme.

In the photo above you can see some more of the Crystal Sprays.
I cut them into several pieces & just poke a little bit here & there
in amongst the flowers.

I loooove all of these Green Tara Roses & in this pic you can
see the little Velvet Leaves too.

This beautiful 11" Flowery Swirl Frame is from 2 Crafty  Chipboard.
I just applied some Texture medium & then finished off with some
gorgeous metallic paints in a few different colours.

I'm really pleased with how this frame turned out.

In this last pic you can see this beautiful Green Tara lace & again
this word is from 2 Crafty chipboard.

I have another project to show you from my DT reveal, but that
will have to wait until tomorrow.

To see the full reveal including all products used etc
pop over to the Green Tara blog.

We would also love you to visit Green Tara
on FACEBOOK too.

Until tomorrow...

CSI Challenge #41
"Cherish"

Hello everyone, thanks so much for calling by.
Today I have my layout for the current challenge over at CSI.
When I saw this colour palette I was so inspired to join in.
It has been a little while since I have been able to play along.
Life has been a bit hectic of late, but I have finally caught up.

For my Testimony I have used two things.
Firstly I made this sweet little pocket with a bow for my journalling.
I'm so happy how this little pocket turned out.
Secondly I journalled  "six things" & tucked it neatly in
the little pocket which sits behind the left photo.

For my Evidence I have used five things.
Firstly my little pocket opens.
Secondly I have used lots of layers.

Third piece of evidence are  my textures.
I have stencilled the bricks on my background.

Fourth piece of evidence is the little padlock & key
in a gold colour.
Fifth piece of evidence are  "ruffles" which I have interpreted
as my distressed edges on everything.
This sweet little frame & mini word are both from 2 Crafty.
The rest of my chippies were just odds & ends from my stash.

All of my gorgeous flowers are from Green Tara.

Thanks again for calling by.
Until next time.

My 2 Crafty Chipboard D.T. Reveal

Hi everyone, just wanted to share my 2 Crafty Chipboard DT
 reveal for this month.
I have used a lot of their new releases including this
"Skeleton Clock Frame".
These come on a 12" sheet & have five different sizes.

As you can see I have used lots of Green Tara flowers, leaves
as well as this lovely Lime green "Bud N Bow" trim which is also
 one of theirs.
They have sooo many gorgeous trims these days,
we really are spoilt for choice.

In this pic you can see one of the NEW 2 Crafty Film Strips.
These come in a few different sizes.
At the side of the cluster I have also tucked in one of their
 little  "Mini Fob Watches".

This is one of 2 Crafty's soon to be released Titles.
"Our Sweet Girl", I thought it was just perfect for my layout.

For my second layout, called "Memories" I have used
 lots more 2 Crafty Chipboard.

I have used some of their beautiful chippie
"Summer Leaf Stems". These come three pieces in a pack.
After painting, Distress Inking & applying "Crackle Accents",
I just popped them in amongst my flower cluster.
I have also used a lovely Cream Fringe Trim & a Jute Ribbon
both from Green Tara of course, I have also used lots of their
little Roses in various colours as well as some of their wired
Velvet Leaves. This gorgeous pink flower is yet another
one from Green Tara also. I also made a couple of flowers too.

Next up I have used some of the 2 Crafty "Chicken Wire
& some of their "Mini Film Strips".

I also used some  2 Crafty "Flag Banners" which I have
just tucked in underneath my flower cluster.
I looooove this Green Tara "Jute Ribbon" which I tied
my bow with.

Lastly I finished off with one of the 2 Crafty "Mini Words".

My White With One DT Reveal
"Dream"

Hello everyone. Thanks for stoppin by. So glad it is
Friday afternoon, nearly the weekend!!! Can't wait.
I'm a little late this month posting my DT layout  for
this months challenge over at WW1.
This months challenge is
White + Yellow + Stars
On this layout I have decided to go slightly "minimilist".
Well it is minimilist for me!!!! I don't do the whole minimilist thing!!!
Don't laugh, this is as minimilist as I can be.

I've stencilled up & misted my background, done some doodling,
stamping, distressing & generally enjoyed the whole thing.
I have used this gorgeous little 2 Crafty letterbox.
This is one of their newest releases. I just adore it.
It just worked perfectly with my layout & I have just left it raw.

Next up I have used lots of gorgeous Green Tara goodies.
This bow I have tied is with the NEW Green Tara "Wired Cord"
that I always seem to be raving about lately.
I have used this on four different projects over the
last few weeks & on each one I have done
something completely different with it.
It is such a great product. I have also used some
Green Tara Roses, Daisies & one of their Flower Sprays
which I have twisted & curled to get the shape I wanted.

Well thats about all for today, I hope you can find some time this month
to join in this challenge. Pop over to the WW1 blog & see what all the
other DT's have done. So many great ideas.
Until next time.
