My Green Tara DT Post
Two Extremes
Vintage & Modern

Hello everyone. Thanks for calling by the blog.
Today I have three layouts to show you for my monthly DT
 reveal for Green Tara.
Firstly I have this vintage layout to share, called
"Those were the Days".

For the top flower cluster I have used one of the new
Satin Rosettes in a beautiful sage colour & it has a pearl centre.
I have teamed it with one of their small Ivory roses.

For my bottom cluster I have used another one of their NEW flowers,
this one is called a  Primula. It is a black/grey with a hint of green.
Just a perfect vintage colour.

I have used four different beautiful Green Tara trims here,
all in Ivory. I have actually woven them in the corner but when
I put my flower cluster on I covered the weaving up!!!
That wasn't very bright was it?

All of these beautiful chipboard pieces I have used are from
2 Crafty chipboard of course.

For my next layout I have stepped waaaay way outside of my
comfort zone & done a modern/minimilist layout called

"The Magic of You"

Now for those of you that are  familiar with my work,
you will know what I mean, I never do minimilist so I
have stepped up to the plate on this one.
Firstly I have used that new Green Tara Wired Cord that I used
a couple of months ago, that I made the wreath with. I have just
twisted & curled it around an awl until I was happy with the shape.
It kind of reminds me of 3D doodling!!!
I'm really happy with how this cord turned out,
just something a little different.
I have also added one of the Green Tara Silver Stems in
peacock blue which I have
broken up into several pieces & scattered here & there.
Next I added some purple Skeleton Leaves to highlight the wings.

Here I have used another one of the many Green Tara ribbons,
this beautiful Shimmer Threaded Ribbon in a midnight blue.
This is the most gorgeous ribbon. I love love love it.
Midnight blue teamed with purple, a match made in heaven.
I have also used some of our beautiful new fabric flowers,
the Primula & Heirloom flowers, both in purple
& a few little roses thrown in for good measure.
In my top flower cluster I have used another piece of my
Twisted Cord as well as a Sakura flower & another one
of the new Green Tara flowers, the purple one is called a
 Lollipop flower.
In this photo you can see a close up of one of their sweet little
Rainforest Butterflies in Lavender with a few
roses which I misted to get the correct colour
& finally some mini flowers scattered around.

Again my chipboard word is from my favourite,
2 Crafty Chipboard.
*************************
"Dream"

This was a layout I did months ago, some of you may have seen it way
back then, but I am in the habbit lately of changing things!!!
When Green Tara got their latest release of NEW flowers,
as soon as I saw these little Primulas in this lovely soft
green, I took off the ones I previously had on there & popped
these ones on instead. They really look much better!!!
Well I think they do.

I have  used some gorgeous Green Tara lime Bud N Bow trim
as well as one of the many Green Tara laces.
This beautiful pink flower is one called Heirloom, these comes in
lots of gorgeous colours. I have also used lots of their Roses as well as
some little Rosebuds tucked in here & there.

Again all of my chipboard, including this gorgeous corner,
Title & my sweet little frame, are all from 2 Crafty Chipboard.
Lots of stencilling & misting on my background to create
a backdrop as well as lots of distressing to finish off with.

Well thats all from me today. I hope I have inspired you a
little, to use some fabulous Green Tara flowers & trims on
your next project.
All of the Green Tara products I have used here are
listed on my post over on the Green Tara blog.
Until next time.

CSI Challenge #46
"Our Beautiful Poppy Girl"

Hello everyone, thanks for calling by.
I have just finished my layout for the
current challenge #46 over at CSI

I looooove this weeks challenge.
Love the colours & love the whole criteria.
I have chosen to do my layout about my gorgeous dog "Poppy".
She is the light of our lives for my husband & I.
We just loooooove her to pieces.
This layout means a lot to me.
It is very close to my heart & special to me.
So, for my "Testimony" I have journalled a little story
about how we came to get our little "Poppy".
I have rolled it up into a little scroll & tied a bow around it
& just popped in on my page.

For my "Evidence" I have used five things.
#1. Animal Accent is the little paws.
#2. A frame which holds my title.

#3. I have used some painting techniques around some
of the edges of my page
#4. Texture Elements is my background texture I have created.

#5. Something shimmery or glowing is again my background.
I have used lots of mists to create lots of shimmer.

This sweet little frame is from 2 Crafty chipboard.
It is one of my favourites. Just the perfect size.

All of these gorgeous flowers & leaves are from my favourite
Green Tara of course.

Well that just about sums it all up.
Thanks so much for taking the time to call by.
Until next time.

My 2 Crafty Chipboard
DT Reveal
Two Layouts Plus an Extra One To Share

Hello everyone. Thanks for calling by the blog today.
This is my 2 Crafty Chipboard DT Reveal for this month.

I have a few layouts to share with you all.
Starting with this one. This is a friend of mines niece.
What a cutie. I had so much fun doing this layout.

I seem to be very "into" circles at the moment.
I'm sure it must be a phase I'm going through!!
Here I have used the 2 Crafty

This beautiful spotty ribbon I have tied this bow with is
                                    from Green Tara,
also some of the flowers & leaves  too.
               .

Love these colours.

Lastly I have used one of 2 Crafty's fabulous chippie titles.
"Daughters are so Special".
Such a beautiful title & just perfect for this layout.

 "Cool Kid"

For my second layout I have done a rare boy one.
I don't seem to do many boy layouts lately so I  thought it was
time to rectify that.
On all the chipboard pieces I have used on this page I have just
simply painted them in black acrylic paint & when dry I wiped a little
"Viva" Inka Gold paste in bronze, over the chippie with my finger.
Really easy but it gives a little something extra.

I have use some of the 2 Crafty Flag Banners here.

Next up I used one of the 2 Crafty  Film Strips. These are great
because they accomodate lots of photos.
Also added one of their  Hot Air Balloons in at the side of the pics.

Another great 2 Crafty chippie title, "Cool Kid". I love it.
It just sets the scene for this layout I think.

Lastly in this pic you can see where I have clustered some little
2 Crafty  Gears in the corner underneath my little pinwheel.

"My Sister My Friend"

Some of you may have already seen this one, I did it for a
challenge last month over at TCR.
Because I have used lots of 2 Crafty chippies on it I thought
I would tack it on the end of my DT reveal.
The 2 Crafty chippie pieces on this layout include the
Title, Fob Watch, Mini Film Strips & this beautiful Corner
& of course all of the gorgeous flowers, leaves & ribbon
on this layout are from Green Tara.

Well that just about does it.
Thanks for looking & if you want to see what all the
other DT have been doing, pop over to the 2 Crafty Blog,
Also you can visit on FACEBOOK too.

Until next time.

My "Once Upon A Sketch" Layout
"Captured Memories"

Hello everyone, thanks so much for calling by.
Today I have my very first entry for
I think I must be the only person in the entire scrapbooking
community that has never joined in before!!!
So here we go.....

I loved this sketch, hey whats not to love!!
As soon as I saw it I just knew I had to join in too.
I must admit I do looooove sketch challenges & this one
is certainly no exception.
I have stuck fairly close to the sketch I think, I haven't
really changed it much at all.

As always I have used lots of yummy Green Tara flowers, leaves,
lace & this little mauve trim is also one of their newest range of trims too.

My little chipboard title, "Captured Memories" is from
2 Crafty Chipboard.

As you can see in this pic I have stencilled some mesh on my
background & tucked a few cogs in here & there in
between my flowers.
On the left side of my photo you can see  I have also made
this little envelope & tucked my journalling into it.

Well thats about all for today.
Thanks again for calling by.
Until next time.

My "Kraft It Up" DT Post
"Angelic"

Hi everyone. Just wanted to show you my DT layout for this
months challenge over at Kraft It Up
This months challenge is to use

Kraft Background
+
Mimimilist

Now as most of you know by now, I DON'T do minimilist.
This has pushed me way, way outside of my comfort zone!
To some, this is not minimilist, but to me it is about as minimilist
as I can or want to do!!!

I haven't even done any background treatments like I normally do.
I hate it, but at least I tried.

I have used this great chipboard Skeleton Clock Face from
2 Crafty chipboard.

I have also used some lovely Green Tara flowers, leaves, lace &
pink trim. I also die cut these sweet little flourishes to add to
my clusters.

Well thats all from me today. I hope you will join in the fun
over at Kraft It Up this month & perhaps
try your hand at "minimilist".

Until next time.
