My First DT Reveal for
Scraps of Darkness Kit Club
Two Layouts to Share
"Twisted & Tangled" May Kit

"Today"

Hi there friends. Thanks for calling by.
Today I have my very first design team reveal for the fabulous
"Scraps of Darkness" kit club.
This is their May kit, called "Twisted & Tangled".
Love it, & it was just so easy to create both of these layouts &
I still have heaps left to do more, so stay tuned for that.

For this layout I used the main kit as well as some of the flower add ons.
The picture on the right is the papers from the main kit.
OMG they are wonderful. It includes both 7 Dots & Fabscraps papers.
Loved both thes ranges.

This layout was made using three of the Fabscraps papers from the main kit
as well as some devine cheescloth fabric that also comes in the main kit.
Just stuck it down & then applied texture paste over the top using the
awesome Crafters Workshop stencil, that is also in this months kit,
 to create some gorgeous textures.
In the kit there are also some little handmade glass mosiac tiles  which
I broke up & scattered around my page for a bit of glam.

I fussy cut some of the papers up & used them in my layers.

Lots of the yummy flowers from the Flower add on kit.

Still more of their yummy flowers & a  picture of yours truly.

"Love & Explore"

For my second layout I have used the fabulous 7 Dots papers from the main kit.
OMG I love these.

In this pic you can see I have also used the little metal Prima words as well
some of the yummy blue Prima flowers.
Metal words are in the main kit, flowers are part of the Floral add on.

Another fab item in this months kit is a sheet of Zen Doodle Collage sheet.
Here you can see I have simply cut one out & popped it in amongst all my layers.
It makes quite an impact, don't you think?

A little stamping on the background, a few splatters, lots of layers,
& hey presto, all done.
All of my amazing chipboard is from 2Crafty Chipboard.

I just know you will just love this kit as much as I do.

Hi friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part two of my May reveal for 2Crafty chipboard to show you.
I have used these pics of myself & my eldest son Beau.
These were taken two years ago & I was waiting for just the right layout & I thought
this was it. A special "Mother & Son Moment".

I thought this 2Crafty chippie title, "A Moment Captured" was just perfect.

Next up I used some 2Crafty "Polaroid Frames" to make my photos stand out.

In this pic you can see I have also used some of the 2Crafty
chippie "Dandelions" & simply tucked them in with my flowers to create
this lovely cluster.

Thats all from me today, I hope I have inspired you to get hold of some of
this fabulous 2Crafty chipboard for your next project too,

My 2Crafty Chipboard May DT Reveal
Part One
"Heritage"

To see my May Scraps of Darkness DT reveal
using the "Twisted & Tangled" kit, click
HERE.

"Heritage"

Hi there, thanks for calling in the blog. Today I have part one of my May  reveal
 for 2 Crafty chipboard
to share with you & naturally I have used loads of
gorgeous chipboard. I started this layout off with
lots of background treatments, followed up with lots of
fussy cutting, this paper was perfect for that, then I attacked
my chipboard.

First up I started with one of the many 2 Crafty chippie titles,
"Heritage" which was perfect for my vintage layout.

I have also used some pieces of their "Leafy Shrub Set #3"
to tuck in here & there amongst the flowers. These are the
perfect accessory to include with any flower cluster.

In this pic you can see I have also used one of their
 "Henri's Tiny Frames"
for my quote, which says.....
"Time is measured in minutes,
Life is measured in moments".
I thought these words were perfect for my vintage layout.

I used "Silks" glaze to colour my chipboard this lovely mauve colour.
. This works so well on chipboard. You just
brush it on & it gives a gorgeous shimmery effect.
I actually used two different colours to get just the right
 shade that I was after.

I will be back in a couple of days with part two of my May reveal.
I do hope you will call back then.

Scrap Around the World Epic Anniversary
Guest Designing with the 2Crafty Chipboard Girls
"Make A Wish"

Hello friends, thanks for stopping by.
This month is the one year anniversary over at
Scrap Around the World challenge blog & they have
so many prizes, & guest teams & all sorts of wonderful
things happening.
2Crafty Chipboard are one of the major sponsors and have
generously donated a $100 prize pack of their amazing chippies
for some lucky winner. The 2Crafty design team girls are "guesting"
over at Scrap Around the World as well,  & as I am part of this team
I also have a reveal with them too.

This is the fabulous Scrap Around the World May moodboard.

How could you NOT be inspired by this moodboard.
The theme this month is celebration.

Feel free to interpret the mood board in any way you like,
using one image, several of them, all of them or even just
one aspect of an image, using ANY COLOURS!

There are some rules you will also need to follow, but I
really hope you can join in the fun too.

So here is my guest design team layout based on the
above moodboard.
I have taken inspiration from  the pink & aqua colours, the little bows on
the shoes & the quote as well as the balloons.

I really wish you could see how much this layout sparkles. I have sooo
much glitter on it but unfortunately you can't see any of it in the pics.

I have used lots of yummy 2Crafty Chipboard
including this fabulous title - "Make A Wish".

Some of their circles from a "6" Skeleton Clock Frame Set".
These are actually just the in between pieces but they were
perfect for what I wanted.

I have also used one of their "Twinkling Fairies" &
again used lots of glitter on her.

Some of their "Balloons" from a big "12" Party Theme Pack".
Again lots of glitter on them but you can't hardly see it !!!!

Lots of background work. I love detail.

Here you can see I have also used a pair of gorgeous flourishes from the
"Flourish Adornment Set #4" & just tucked them in under the edge
of both of my flower clusters before adding a bow or two..

Remember to pop over to the
Scrap Around the World blog & see what
all the other 2Crafty design team have done.

Until next time.

This is the wonderful May moodboard.

Now for my layout I have gone with a "Celebration of NEW life",
hence I have scrapped this layout about my beautiful new
Grandaughter, Mia & naturally I have taken my inspiration from
the May moodboard.
I have been inspired by the pinks & yellow in the balloons as well
as the bows on the shoes, so I have added some bows too & I have
also added a tiny bit of glitter like that on the balloons.

Lots of pretty blooms to create a garden for my little cherub.

All of this gorgeous chipboard is from 2 Crafty Chipboard of course
& they are also a major sponsor for this months challenge, so some
lucky person will win $100 worth of this awesome product.

These pics are of my gorgeous Grandaughter Mia.
Our sweet little angel. I just love the angel wings
I have put on her here, afterall, every little angel
should have wings. Don't you agree?

In this last pic you can see some of the little bows I was inspired to use from
the moodboard as well as some more of the wonderful 2 Crafty chipboard
pieces I have used.
I do hope I have inspired you to join us this month over at
Scrap Around the World.
