My 2Crafty Chipboard December DT Reveal -Part Two
"A Glimpse of You"

Hi there peeps, thanks for calling by. Today I have part two of my
December DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard.
I have used some of the "Beaded Heart Borders".
I have been dying to use these & thought they would work brilliantly on this layout.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
A Glimpse of You - title
Beaded Heart Borders
Bubble Clumps
Lattice Heart Set

On both the "Beaded Heart Borders" & the title "A Glimpse of You"
I have first primed them with a coat of gesso, followed by a random
coat of turquoise mica powder, to achieve this effect.
Next I applied a little bit of Kindyglitz here & there for a little
touch of sparkle, although it is hard to see the sparkle in these pics.

As always, lots of mixed media, stamping & some micro beads on my background.

Here you can see I have added some of the chippie "Bubble Clumps"
in between my layers for some added effect. After a coat of gesso I gave
them a lick of colour using lime green Silks paints.

I gave the same treatment to one of the "Lattice Hearts" which I
have used to layer my title onto.

Well thats all from me today.
 I hope you have a lovely & safe Christmas & I will
see you back here again soon.

My 2Crafty Chipboard December DT Reveal
Part One
"Precious"

Hi there paper friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have a layout plus a VIDEO TUTORIAL to share with you
& naturally I have used lots of yummy 2Crafty chippies as well as these
wonderful Maja Design papers from their "Vintage Summer Basics" collection.
These gorgeous pics are of my new baby grandson.
Aaaaw he is such a sweetie.

First up I have used the 2Crafty chippie title, "Precious"
which was just the perfect title for this layout.

The little "Baby Clothes Line" was simply coloured with a
brown ink pad & I just cut it to fit. It doesn't get much easier than that.
It doesn't have to be complicated to look good.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Precious-loopy font
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars
Baby Clothes Line
2015 's Multi Pack

Next up I have used a "2015" date & a sprinkling of stars from the
"ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars" pack.
All of these blue chippies were simple coloured with blue Mica Powder.
It is absolutely brilliant for colouring chipboard. Because it is so highly
pigmented, you don't even need to prime the chippies first with gesso !!

Lots of stamping & mixed media on my background.

Lots of yummy layers & textures.

And there you have it. Another layout complete.
I hope you like it & had time to view my video too.
I will be back in a few days with part two of my December reveal.
Until next time.

"Merry & Bright"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have my December DT reveal for
Scrap Around the World
based on our wonderful December moodboard designed
by DT member, Valia Katzaki from Greece.
I loved working with this moodboard Valia. Thanks so much.

SATW December Moodboard

Naturally I have used some lovely new chippie pieces from my favourite
chippie company 2Crafty Chipboard.

2Crafty Chipboard Used..
Festive Music Notes
Holly Twig Branches
Merry & Bright title
2015 Date

I have heat embossed all the chippie pieces with gold embossing powder.

I love the way the gold looks teamed with the wonderful
pinks from the moodboard.

This new "Festive Music Notes" chippie piece has to be a favourite !!!
After heat embossing it I cut it into a few pieces for maximum effect.

Lots of mixed media on my background as well as lots
of yummy gold micro beads.

Well that pretty much sums it up.
I hope I have inspired you in some small way.

Sadly this will be my last DT post for  Scrap Around the World
becuase this is their last challenge before they close their doors.
There is more about this on their blog.
It has been a great experience to be part of this fabulous team &
Helen Tilbury has been a wonderful leader. I have learn't so much from her.
I wish Helen all the best for the future & her journey ahead.
Thanks for everything Helen. xo

Until next time.
