My 2Crafty Chipboard December DT Reveal
Part Two
"I Beleieve In Santa"

Hi there paper friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have part two of my
December DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard.  My layout today is a
Christmas layout featuring my sweet little grandson Henry sitting on Santas knee.
(this was before he had a major meltdown!! & that will be another layout.)

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
I Believe in Santa-title
Christmas Polaroid Frames
Holly Flourish #1
Holly Leaves
Ruddy

To frame my photo I have used one of the "Christmas Polaroid Frames"
which I have painted in acrylic paints.

Next up I also painted this chippie title, "I Believe in Santa" in some red
acrylic paint & then I dabbed on a little bit of red Stickles glitter..

Then came this little "Ruddy" reindeer. How cute is he? For this I lightly rubbed him over
with some light brown ink & then painted in some of the details using acrylic paints.

For all the "Holly Flourishes" & "Holly" leaves, I simply heat embossed them
all with a gold embossing powder. Too easy.

I hope you liked my layout today.

Merry Christmas to everyone & I hope you have a safe New Year.
Until next time.

My 2Crafty Chipboard December DT Reveal
Part One
"Amazing, Wonder, Beauty"

Hi there lovelies, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part one of my December DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard.
I actually created this layout for a class I was teaching at a retreat in New Zealand recently.

 2Crafty Products Used...
Mini Word Set #1
Circle Heart Frames
Leafy Shrub Set #1
Fine Heart Borders

Lots of lovely paper layers from Maja Design, 49 and Market flowers & of course,
 lots of 2Crafty chipboard.

All the chipboard on this layout was firstly coated in white gesso, followed by
a coat of white acrylic paint. I just left the mini words like this.

But for all the other pieces I then wiped a little "Vintage Photo" Distress Ink over
the white paint & then brushed a little water over the brown ink to wash it out
a little. I find doing this just softens the colour a little.

I love to tuck some chippie foliage in amongst my flower clusters.

Well thats all from me today, I'll see you back here in a few days with part two.

Until then.

bit of mixed media using some Lindys Stamp Gang sprays.

also from the Vintage Artistry Collection, but this time these ones I used are from their
6 x 6 Paper Pad.

I have used some lovely 2Crafty chipboard pieces throughout my layout.

Next up I have cut out lots of pieces from the
Heirloom Botanicals Cut Out Sheet including this clock.

As well as these gorgeous little suitcases, some birds & some butterflies too.

I have used one of the 49 and Market "Garden Vines" in alabaster.

I have also added some other white flowers from the 49 and Market
"Basic Multi Flower Packs" too.

extensive range of stamps that 49 and Market have.

My December "More Than Words Challenge" DT Reveal
"A Christmas 2 Remember"

Hi there lovelies, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have my December DT Reveal,
(oh my can you believe it is December already)
for More Than Words Challenge
and it features my sweet little grandaughter Mia.
Our December challenge is to use, or be inspired by the word "TRADITIONS"
and the creative challenge is to use something handmade on your creation.

As always I have used some lovely chipboard pieces
on my layout from 2Crafty Chipboard.

Now one of my Christmas TRADITIONS is to always do a
Christmas photo shoot, especially important now we have grandchildren.

She looked so super sweet in her Santa hat that nanny had to take about fifty photos !!

For the CREATIVE part of the challenge, I handmade lots of my embellishments
by die cutting, heat embossing, cutting up real Chrissy decorations to make
scrappy embellies & painting up various things to match with some Lindys sprays.

I also added lots of glitter too !!

Well that just about wraps up another great challenge from
More Than Words. I do hope you will find some time to
play along with us this month & as always we have
EIGHT FABULOUS PRIZES up for grabs again too.

Until next time.

Guest Designing With the 2Crafty DT Girls At
CSI Challenge Blog
"Just Hanging About"

Hi there lovelies, thanks for calling by.
Today I have a layout I created of my sweet little grandson Henry, wearing his
 "State of Origin" footy jersey.

This was for the CSI challenge blog & is based on the CSI case file #214 (see below).
Myself & some of the other DT girls from 2Crafty Chipboard
are "Guest Designers" at CSI this month.

You have to use at least three things from the "Evidence" list
along with at least one thing from the "Testimony" list,
PLUS you have to use all these colours & the sketch is optional.

2Crafty Chippies Used...
Just Hanging About - title
Retro Panel
Chevron Bits

For the title, after first coating it in some gesso,
I simply painted it with some red acrylic paint.

Some cute little bit & pieces (quote & flair buttons) from Flutterby Designs.

Next up I coloured the 2Crafty "Retro Panel" & some of their
chippie "Chevrons" with a black ink pad, quick, easy & no mess.
I really loooove this retro panel!!!

I cut up the Retro Panel into pieces & placed them under & around
the photo to make a kind of vertical border & I still have some left
that I can use on another layout.

I really like the chipboard painted black against the bright colour background.

Lots of stamping & lots of paint thrown all over the place, and viola, all finished.

Make sure you pop over to the 2Crafty Blog & get some inspiration
from the all the 2Crafty design team girls.

Until next time.

Guest Designing With The 2Crafty Chipboard DT Girls At
C.S.I. Blog
"Happiness Is This"

Hello there lovelies, thanks so much for calling by.
Today I have a layout I did as a "Guest Designer" over at CSI blog.
Myself & some of the other DT girls from 2Crafty Chipboard
were invited to be their guest this month & play along with this case file #215.
I immediately loved these colours & this I what I came up with...

The Criteria...
Use all the colours
Use at least 3 things from the "Evidence" list
Us at least one thing from the "Testimony" list

 2Crafty Chipboard Used..
Happiness Is This - title
6" Skeleton Clock Frames
Soft Feather Set
Birdcage #1

All the chippies were firstly given a coat of gesso followed by a
coat of Lindys Stamp Gang sprays which I like to brush on instead of spraying.
Then I always follow this up by brushing over with a little water to create
 a kind of watercolour effect.

I have used all manner of flowers & vines & I have tucked in one of
the little 2Crafty Chipboard "Birdcage Set #1".
How cute is this chippie piece & it comes with the little bird too!!

I painted some Lindys spray onto a few of the flowers to achieve
the exact colour I needed to match the various chippie pieces,
plus it gives them a lovely shimmer too.

These 2Crafty "Skeleton Clock Frames" are one of my favourite
chipboard pieces. I just love to cut them in half & tuck them in here & there.

In this pic you can see the chippie "Feather Set". I think these are a real
statement piece. I painted them white & smeared them with glue & then
sprinkled them with Mica Flakes. I wished you could see just how sparkly
they are in real life. They look sooo good but it is hard to get the sparkle
 to show in a photo.

Well thats all for today.
See you back here again in a few days with some more inspiration.
