The Anna's Craft Cupboard
January Challenge
"This Face"

Hi friends, thanks for stopping by. Today is a special day for me, I actually got to scrap
"just for me" !!! I have not entered a challenge for over a year but as I have lessened my
workload for 2018 I actually found time to enter a challenge.

I have chosen to enter the "Anna's Craft Cupboard" challenge.
I just LOVE this fabulous moodboard & so have just managed to
get it done in the nick of time too.

I wanted to do something a little different so I have cut my photos
into angled shapes. I also did this to the layers underneath the photos too.

I took these photos of my grandson Henry the other day with this challenge in mind.

I have NO idea why he is pulling this silly face but I loved it!!

I have used some of my favourite 2Crafty Chipboard.

I handmade two of these three flowers to match.

To start off with I did a watercolour background. I am loving doing these backgrounds lately !!

Then a little stamping. I really like this stamp with the little squares, it is from

Well that a wrap. I really enjoyed just scrapping for myself today & hopefully
I will get to do more of it this year now that I have cut back a bit on my workload.

Thanks to Anna's & the DT for a wonderful challenge & such an inspiring moodboard.

Until next time.

A Combination of PRETTIES For.....
2Crafty Chipboard & 49 and Market
"Shine"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have another layout to share with you that I created using some lovely
pieces of my favourite 2Crafty Chipboard & I have combined it with some of the
brand NEW flowers & papers from 49 and Market.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used....
Shine title from "Fine Word Set #2"
Dandelions
Flower Doileys

I really love these chipboard "Dandelions".  I simple painted them in a green acrylic
paint & then added a little glue & added some pink Prills to the ends.  When combined
with all the gorgeous 49 and Market flower they really pack a punch.

The "Shine" title is from the "Fine Word Set #2".
I just painted it with the same acrylic paint that I used on the dandelions.

Here you can see I have layered some of the 2Crafty chipboard "Flower Doileys" behind
the photos & again I have tucked lots of lovely 49 and Market flowers in as well.

Those chipboard doileys are definitely one of my favourites.
Just perfect for layering & drawing focus to the photos too.

I was really pleased how the border on the paper looks when
I fussy cut it & then layered it over one of their stripe papers.

Well thats all I have for you today.

I would LOVE you to leave me a comment & tell me what you think about
this layout. I really appreciate the feedback.

Until next time.

My 2Crafty Chipboard January DT Reveal
Part Two
"This Boy"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part two of my January DT reveal for
2Crafty Chipboard to share with you that I created
& it features my cute little grandson Henry

 2Crafty Chipboard Used..
This Boy - title
Bubble Grid Panel
Geotags
Steampunk Gears - Medium
Steampunk - Small
Lightglobes

After firstly doing a mixed media background I then base coated the "This Boy"
title in white acrylic paint & coloured it green with some "Silks" paint.

Now for all the other chipboard pieces I base coated them in black acrylic paint &
when dry I dabbed on some brown ink in a random fashion.  Next I sprayed them
all with Lindy's Gang "Incandescent Copper" & "Grab A Guy Gold" sprays.

This was sooo super easy to do & it gave the chipboard a really great look.

For the "Steampunk Gears-Small" to make them a little different to the medium
ones, I then added a little rub of "Prima Alchemy Metallique Wax" in White Gold.

Some added burlap & corrugated card adds to the feel of this layout.

All finished. I do hope you like my layout & are perhaps inspired
just a little. I will be back later in the month with more.

Until then.

My 2Crafty Chipboard January DT Reveal
Part One
"Nan's Girl"

Hi there lovelies, thanks for stopping by. Today I have a layout to share with you
featuring my little grandaughter as part of my January DT work for 2Crafty Chipboard.

We did a photo shoot with her a while back & I have lots of these
gorgeous pics so I thought I would scrap a few more of them today.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Nan's Girl - title
Frame Olivia
Corner Ivy
Ivy Clusters

After firstly doing a watercolour background I set about altering the chipboard.

I started off by base coating all the chipboard pieces in white paint.

These gorgeous "Olivia's Frames" I simply gave two coats of white acrylic paint. Too easy !!

For the "Ivy Clusters" I blobbed a little texture paste on them to create some texture
& when dry I coloured the with some Lindy's "Sassy Saphire" spray & then finished
them off with some Sparkling Dust crystals although it is hard to see that in the pics.

The "Nan's Girl - title" & the "Corner Ivy" were all coloured
up with the same Lindy's "Sassy Saphire" spray.  I cut the "Corner Ivy" in
half to create a different placement instead of using it as a corner.

All finished. I hope you like my layout today.
I will be back in a few days with more inspiration for you.

Until then
