Hello & welcome to my blog. Today I am so excited to receive the news
that I made it into the semi finals for the
2018 Heartfelt Creations Design Team Callout.

I would LOVE it if you could take a moment of your
time today & click on this link below & give me a VOTE !!!
Yes the final selection is apparently done on the
number of votes each finalist receives.

I have included a small selection of my work so you can see what I do,
although most of you are probably more familiar with my scrapbooking.
You can see a GALLERY of a lot of my work at the top of this page

I have always been a huge fan of the Heartfelt Creations products & as I teach
a monthly card class (have done for about 12 years) I love to use their
products whenever I get the chance.

For those who are NOT familiar with my work, I have been teaching both scrapbooking &
cardmaking since 2006.

A Small Selection of my Cards

Thank you so much for visiting today & please,
REMEMBER to give me a vote if you can.

Until next time.

More February Inspiration for 2Crafty Chipboard
Using Acrylic Paints - So Super Simple
Be Yourself

Hello dear friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part two of my February inspiration to share with you for

2Crafty Chipboard Products Used...
Palm Leaves
Corner Doodled
Doiley Frames
Be Yourself - title

After starting off with a mixed media background I then base coated
all the chipboard pieces with white acrylic paint.

The title was then simply given a coat of navy blue acrylic paint.

All these gorgeous flowers I have used are from 49 and Market.
I actually sprayed a couple of the larger red ones to get just the right colour.

Next up I cut the gorgeous " Doodled Corner" in half to create along border
instead of using it as a corner & then it was painted the same as the title.

I thought using these "Doiley Frames" to draw the eye to the photo were
the perfect chipboard choice. These were also just coloured with acrylic paint.

Lastly came the beautiful "Palm Leaves" which again were just simply painted with a
acrylic paint. Too easy. Note I have bent them up slightly to create a little dimension.

It really doesn't get much simpler than what I have done here.
Just goes to show that it doesn't have to be complicated to look great.

My February DT Reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard
Part One
"Pure Joy"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part one of my 2Crafty Chipboard
February DT inspiration for you & it showcases my NEW baby grandaughter Audrey.
They had a newborn photo shoot so I have lots of these gorgeous pics.

2Crafty Products Used...
Ivy Clusters
Pure Joy - title
Addy's Butterflies

I started off by base coating all the chipboard pieces with white acrylic paint.

The"Ivy Clusters" were coloured with a couple of coats of Lindy's
"Pink Lady Pink" spray & when dry I dabbed a little glue on the leaves & then
sprinkled with some fine glitter, although it is hard to see that in the pics.

I also crease the leaves down the middle and bent them up slightly to add dimension.

A little bit of mixed media on my background & lots of pretty
49 and Market flowers.

The "Pure Joy" title was coloured up with a couple of coats of Lindy's
"Sassy Saphire" spray but I brushed it on to get a stronger coverage.

The "Addy's Butterflies" were treated the same as the
title but with a little glitter added to the wings.

Well thats all for today, back again tomorrow with more.
Until then.

More NEW 49 and Market Papers & Flowers
"Remember Today"
By Di Garling

Hello there, thanks for stopping by. Today I have part two of my February DT reveal
to share with you for 49 and Market
it features papers from their BRAND NEW paper collection, "Captured Adventures".

I just adore the slightly grungy feel to this collection. When teamed with flowers it takes
on a feminine feel but is just perfect for those boy layouts & even vintage too, not to
mention it was designed with a travel theme in mind.

49 and Market Products Used...
"Captured Adventure" - "Faded Memories" paper (for my background)
"Captured Adventures - "Wander Aimlessly" paper (for the tags)
Archival Board "Timeless" in black
Archival Board "Remember Today" in black

49 and Market Flowers Used...
Garden Vine in Alabaster
Botannical Potpourri in both Marina Blue & Shadow Grey

I have done a little mixed media on the background & then added lots of
stamping using the two stamp sets below.

49 and Market Stamps Used...
Pascale's 3"x 4" Writing Stamp
Gabbi's Patterned Textures Stamp Set

Here you can see I cut some tags out of the Captured Adventures "Wander Aimlessly"
paper & layered them behind the photos.

All of the chipboard used here is available in both black or white. I have used the black ones so I only had to wipe it over a little with some silver ink to create this great grungy look. Too easy.

I have mixed up all the flowers here to create a flowery base for my photos.
I do love this NEW colour "Marina Blue" !!

Another layout all finished.
I do hope you like our new products as much as we all do.
Until next time.

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have part one of my February DT reveal for
49 and Market to share with you that I created this using the NEW “Tattered Garden”
paper collection from
I just adore this collection, especially this delightful paper.

49 and Market Products Used…
“Tattered Leaves” paper x 2
Vintage Shades Flowers in Sage
Botanical Blends Flowers in Sage
“Scripted Squared” stamp

After a little stenciling & stamping on the background I set about creating my layout.

I also used some lovely pieces of 2Crafty Chipboard too.

I have used two lots of our NEW flowers.
Both the “Vintage Shades” & also the “Botanical Blends” flowers.
Both in this gorgeous sage colour.

I really liked the various shades of the sage green when teamed together, as
well as this fabulous foliage that is also part of the pack too.

Well thats all from me today, I will be back tomorrow with another
layout showcasing our other NEW paper collection.

Until then
