My 2Crafty Chipboard June DT Reveal
PLUS Guest Designing for CSI Challenge Blog
"Summer Fun"

Hi there 2Crafty fans, thanks for calling by.
Today I have a layout to share with you featuring my grandson Henry
that I created for 2Crafty Chipboard & based on the current challenge # 256 over on
the CSI blog. 2Crafty are a sponsor this month so some of our DT girls are playing along.

 Here is the CSI criteria.....
I have used all the colours & I have used 10 things from the
list of clues and have used one of their journal prompts too.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Summer Fun - title
Palm Leaves Set
Diamond Chunk Bits
Summer Beach Set

For the ":Summer Fun" title, after base coating it with a coat of white acrylic
paint, I then coloured it with some Lindy's "Sassy Saphire" spray.

The "Palm Leaves" were firstly base coated with white acrylic paint followed
by dabbing them over with an Archival Ink Pad in "Fern Green".

The chippie umbrella & deck chair were again base coated in white acrylic paint
followed by a spray of Lindy's "Pineapple Paradise" spray & when dry I
brushed on some more of the same colour to create depth for shading.

The last chippie piece I used were the "Diamond Chunk Bits"
which were simply  wiped over with a black "Archival Ink Pad".

Another layout finished. Hope you like it.
Until next time.

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have a layout to share with you featuring
my grand daughter Mia. I have used one of the papers from our NEW "Sweet Reflections"

 49 and Market Products Used...
Sweet Reflections "Singing in the Rain" paper
Sweet Reflections Laser Cuts
Wings and Things Layered Embellishments
Vintage Shades Potpourri Flowers in Sage
Botannical Blends Flowers in Snow White

I used their NEW "Singing In The Rain" paper from the "Sweet Reflections" collection
for my background & accessorised it with the matching "Laser Cuts".

Lots of beautiful 49 and Market flowers with a few little blooms from our
3D embellishments poked in here & there.

All the chipboard I have used is from 2Crafty Chipboard.

The NEW laser cuts are a perfect accompaniment tucked in amongst the flowers.

A very small amount of mixed media on the background for added interest.

I hope I have inspired you a little to try our beautiful new "Sweet Reflections" collection too.

 Back soon with more.

Until then.

My 2Crafty Chipboard June DT Reveal
Part One
"Sweet Girl"

Hi there 2Crafty fans. Today I have a layout that I created using some gorgeous
pieces of our favourite 2Crafty Chipboard.

I have handmade every single flower & leaf on this page, crazy isn't it !!

2Crafty Chipboard Used ...
"Sweet Girl" - Mini Words
Fine Heart Borders
Doillies

How nice do all these chippie pieces look & all I have
done here is emboss them all with gold embossing powder.

The people at 2Crafty actually custom made these
little "Mini Words" for me for a class I was doing.

I used these gorgeous chippie "Doillies" to frame my photos.
I actually cut one of them in half to make three out of two !!

Another layout done & I have to say I really love the chippie pieces
embossed in gold. Super simple & they definitely make a statement!!

Well thats all I have for you today.
See you back here soon with more inspiration.

Until then..

My 49 and Market June DT Reveal
Part One
"Smile"

Hello there friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part one of my June DT reveal for 49 and Market. This is a layout which I
created for a good friend of mine, Joanne Flannery,  who owns a scrapbook store,
Embellish It, in the south island of New Zealand.
I taught a whole bunch of classes at her retreat the other week.
Thankfully the New Zealand girls really liked it. I hope you do too.

 49 and Market Products Used...
Tattered Garden  - "Tattered Flourish" paper
Heirloom Botanicals - Conservatory paper
Vintage Shades Potpourri in Snow White (I sprayed them various shades of mauve & purple)
Burlap Ribbon Trim in Cream

I started off by tearing the font paper &  curling the edge before sticking it down
on the darker paper.  This is one of my "go to" techniques I love to do.
I do love these two 49 and Market papers together.

A little background stamping & then the fun begins !!

I love all these shades of lavender & purples together with the
"Vintage Shades" flowers.

Some stamped leaves using a 49 and Market stamp which I then proceeded to cut out
& poke in here & there for a touch of realism.

All the beautiful chipboard I have used is from 2Crafty Chipboard.

Well thats all I have to share with you today.
See you back here again later in the month with some more inspiration.

Until then..
