OCTOBER KIT
More 2Crafty Chipboard Design Team Inspiration
"Life Is Short-Take the Journey"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I am back with more DT inspiration for
 2Crafty Chipboard Product Used...
"Take the Journey" - title
Mini Checkerboard Pieces
"Old Fence"
Mini Bicycles

I was really happy with how this one turned out
I just love these colours & all the elements came together
really easy. (now that is rare!!)

In this pic you can see this NEW RELEASE title I have used.

I thought this "Mini Bicycle"
was the perfect piece to go with the title.

Now all the chipboard I have used has all been treated the same.

#1. I painted all the chippies with a coat of metallic copper acrylic paint.
#2. Then I used some blue acrylic paint sponged on here & there to create
some interest.

The "Old Fence Panel" is another great chippie piece
& adds a touch of realism. A perfect piece for layering.

I have also added two little Flair badges to my layout too.
I shouted myself a badge making machine & so now all my layouts
can have little custom made flair badges. Just a nice little touch.

Here you can see a piece of the "Checkerboard Bits"
that I have tucked in amongst my layers too.

All these lovely brown flowers are from 49and Market.

Well thats all from me today.
I do hope you like my layout.

Until next time.

More Inspiration With 49 and Market
"This Girl"

Hello there 49 fans, thanks for stopping by. Today I have another layout to share with
you that I created & it features my gorgeous grand daughter Mia. My goodness she
is getting more beautiful everyday. Yes I am a very biased grandmother.

On this one I have done a whole lot of fussy cutting using a paper from
one of our earlier 49 and Market paper collections, “Flower Fairies”.
This paper is called “Lost Postcard”

Isn’t that little fairy image beautiful sitting in amongst all those lovely flowers.
All the chipboard I have used here is from 2Crafty Chipboard.

For the background paper I have used the B side of the “Ecelctic Pieces”
paper from the “Captured Adventures” collection.

This “Flower Fairies” paper is fabulous for fussy cutting. I just love all the images & it
is a fairly easy one to cut out too. You can see I have poked pieces I have cut out in here & there.

Here you can see I have used some of the fabulous
NEW “Stargazer Flowers” in the colour “Lemon Drop”.

All my gorgeous chipboard is from 2Crafty Chipboard.

I have also added a little burlap flower from our
“Rustic Canvas & Burlap Small Blooms” too.

A tiny amount of mixed media on my background for added texture.

Hey presto, all finished.

I hope you like this one, Back soon with more.
Until then

More Design Team Inspiration For
2Crafty Chipboard
"Love" in Watermelon..

Hi there lovelies, thanks for stopping by.
Back today to share another of my
recent creations using some of my favourite 2Crafty Chipboard.
I taught this layout recently in a class I taught up at
Stradbroke Island for The Vintage Chicks Club.
They made up some extra kits & I believe they still have a few left.
If you are interested you can contact them direct.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used...
"Love" word title from the "Fine Words Set #1"
"Chicken Wire Panel"
"Leafy Shrub Set #1"

All of the chipboard I used was firstly given two coats
of white acrylic paint as I wanted everything to be really
white white !!
You can see in this pic where I have cut the "Chicken Wire Panel"
into pieces & I have poked it in here and there around the layout.

Next up I gave the little "Love" title from the "Fine Word Set #1"
a coat of Peridot Green metallic paint. Just to create a point of difference.

All my papers & flowers are from 49and Market.

I really love the chippie chicken wire cut up & poked around my layout.
Just adds to the layers & adds another dimension.

In this last picture you can see a couple of pieces of foliage from the
"Leafy Shrub Set #1" poked in down the bottom peeking out from
underneath the flowers. I love these & use them often.

Well thats all for today, I will be back later in to month with more.

Until next time....

My 49 and Market September DT Reveal
"Timeless"

Hi there friends thanks for stopping by.
Today I have another layout to share that was part of my design team work for September for
and I have used lots of gorgeous products.

I also taught this layout in a class recently for The Vintage Chicks Club
up in Queensland & I think they still have a few kits of this one left
so if you are interested, contact them direct.

49 and Market Products Used….
“Singing the Blues” paper from the Sweet Reflections collection
Garden Vine in Dusty Shale
Vintage Shades Clusters in Blue
“Timeless” Archival Board

After doing a little mixed media on the background I added some Lindy’s sprays.
I do love this 49and Market Archival Board. I have left all the archival chipboard
in the plain white it comes in but I have also given a quick brush over the chipboard
title with some of the Lindy’s spray.

The Garden Vine & the Vintage Shades flowers work so well together. I have added
a small amount of glitter to some of the petals of the vine, although it is hard to see
that in the photo.  It always looks good to mix the flowers up a little.

Bits of gauze & bits of lace poked in & around the layout as
well as some little scalloped corrugated circles too.

I really love this “archival chipboard set”. It has so many pieces in the one set & best of all
you can either leave it plain white or it makes the perfect base for any other medium too.

A few little pearls scattered here & there too.

All finished.
I hope you like this one today & that perhaps I have inspired
you with a few ideas along the way.

Until next time.

My More Than Words Challenge
September DT Reveal
"This Is You"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have my September DT reveal for More Than Words
MAIN September challenge.

I also designed this, based on the challenge, but for some classes I taught last weekend
for The Vintage Chicks Club in Brisbane, Australia.
(for our overseas friends that may not know where that is).
This is the challenge....
#1. To use the word SUNSHINE or be inspired by it.
#2. Use yellow.

Too easy.
I have taken my inspiration from the word SUNSHINE. I have used this photo
of my granddaughter Mia, she truly is the "sunshine of our lives".

As for the colour yellow, I love yellow, so that was easy done.

I have used this little title "This is You" by 2Crafty Chipboard.

I have done a mixed media background with lots of
heat embossing & Lindys Stamp Gang sprays.
I was really happy how that turned out.

Lots of gorgeous laser cuts from 49and Market  as well as
all these green flowers  I stamped, heat embossed & coloured
with Lindys spray before fussy cutting them all out.

I naturally had to add some flowers of course along with more laser cuts. :)

Well there we have it, another layout finished.
I hope I have inspired you to perhaps join in this months challenge over at
More Than Words challenge & as always, we have eight great prizes up for grabs.

Until next time.
