Today I have another Christmas creation to

 share & it features my gorgeous grandson Henry.

I took this pic of him last last Christmas & this title was just perfect !!

This month 2Crafty Chipboard is sponsoring CSI challenge blog
so I have taken my inspiration for this layout from their current challenge.

"Elf Antics" - title

Wire Stars

Ornament sampler

After a quick mixed media background I set about 

painting both the "Wire Stars" & the "Ornament Sampler"

in a couple of coats of gold acrylic paint.

I have cut the "Ornament Sampler" into two pieces, putting one

piece down the bottom underneath the flowers & the other piece 

in the top corner to add some balance to my layout.

That title is just the perfect title for little boy Chrissy pages.

I gave it a coat of lime green "Silks" paint before going over it 

with a very light coat of gold paint. I wanted it to tone in.

The other half of the "Ornament Sampler". 

 A super easy but effective Christmas layout complete.

I hope I have inspired you to maybe do something similar.

More Design Team Inspiration For49 and Market"Merry Christmas"

 Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have another Christmas themed layout

 to share with you using the latest "Winters Edge" paper collection from 49 and Market.

 I adore the wonderful vintage feel of this paper collection.

 I thought I would go for an alternative Christmas colour scheme on this one & I think it

 worked out well, especially when teamed with their beautiful "Vintage Shades" flowers.

 I naturally have used lots of my favourite 2Crafty chipboard 

 which I have heat embossed in a lovely gold sparkly finish.

 I even added some gold shimmer spray to lots of the 

foliage & flowers to add to the whole sparkly vibe.

 Some gold paint, gold splatters & lots of gold bits poked

 in here & there to add to the Christmas feel.

 I have really enjoyed creating with these gorgeous papers. This is actually the third Christmas

 layout I have done using this paper collection & I must say I have been happy with all three.

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have another boy

 layout to share with you that was part of my design team work for 2Crafty Chipboard..

Since we had our grandson I have really started enjoying doing boy layouts again.

I used to do lots of boy pages & these days I am enjoying doing them all over again.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used.

 Some nice effects on all the chipboard cogs so they look like metal.

A tiny bit of background stencilling.

A few more masculine flowers for added texture &

teamed with a custom made flair badge & a little hot air balloon.

All paper & flowers are from 49and Market.

Another layout complete.

 Today I have some more Christmas inspiration which is part of my
November Design Team work for 49and Market
 & I have used their NEW "Winters Edge" Christmas paper collection.

This is such a beautiful vintage inspired Christmas collection.
 I absolutely love these papers.

Lots of sparkles & glitter for this one.

These flowers were just perfect for this layout. 

Especially against this paper. They made the perfect contrast.

Bits of lace are scattered throughout the layout too.

Lots of my favourite 2Crafty Chipboard on this one.

More of those gorgeous flowers with a couple of little pine cones added for effect.

More glitter & a matching little custom made flair badge.

Hey presto. Another layout complete.

 I really enjoyed creating this layout with such beautiful Christmas papers.

My 2Crafty Chipboard November Design Team Reveal"Love You"

Today I have another layout to share with you that I actually created the

background of late one night after I had finished teaching a class in Perth recently.

I just began to play & before I knew it I had created this mixed media background!!

I just knew it would come in handy.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used.

 

Naturally I have used some lovely pieces of my favourite 2Crafty Chipboard.

I really loved the grunginess of this mixed media 

background against all the prettiness of the flowers etc.

 

 

Lots of lovely flowers from 49and Market.

A sweet little flair badge which I custom made myself.

 

Some fussy cut elements for detail from 49and Market.

 

I just knew this mixed media background would come in handy.

Today is a really exciting day because I get to showcase the brand 

NEW Christmas paper collection from 49 and Market called “Winters Edge”.

It is absolutely gorgeous. Such a lovely shabby chic, vintage inspired 

Christmas collection. So here is my very first layout using it...

I wanted to use traditional Christmas colours on this one & added lots & lots of gold. 

Sad all the gold doesn’t show in the photos though!! 

There is sooo much gold sparkly on this layout but it just 

doesn't show up in the photos !!!

 This NEW paper collection is absolutely beautiful, the photos of it just don’t do it justice.

 So much gorgeous detail on these papers, but subtle too.

 Lots of beautiful flowers & I have added some little

Christmas berries & foliage in as well.

Lots of my favourite 2Crafty of course.
