My 2Crafty September DT Reveal
Part Two
"Cherished Moments"

Hi there friends, back again with part two of my
September 2Crafty DT reveal, with another layout
of my gorgeous Grandaughter Mia.

I have used this title, "Cherished Moments" which is
another new release from 2Crafty. This was simply painted
with white acrylic paint after firstly coating it with gesso.

In this pic you can see I have  used a
"Birdcage #1". The little bird is also included.
The cage was given the same treatment as the title.

Another chippie piece I have used on this layout is this corner
from the "Corner Mini Set #1" which was again treated the
same as the title then I simply added a few flowers for effect.

I have used two "Floral Branches".  They are just like a cherry blossom,
& after firstly priming with gesso I have painted them with acrylic paints.
When dry I have brushed a little distress ink in the middle of each blossom &
then finished off with a pearl.
I do love how all the detail on the chipboard still shows through the paint.

Well thats all from me for today. I hope you liked it &
until next time.

My 2Crafty Chipboard September DT Reveal
Part One
"Treasure, Adore, Beauty"

Hi friends, thanks for calling by.  Today I have part one of my September
DT reveal for 2Crafty chipboard to share with you.

I have used one of my favourite 2 Crafty chippies sets here, the
"Leafy Shrub Set #2". There are four beautiful flourishy pieces of foliage
in this set & they are the perfect accessory for any sort of flower cluster.

All the chippies on this layout were treated in the same way. Firstly they were all
given a coat of gesso to prime them, followed by some 13arts paint & then a
random wipe over with some Distress ink. Some of the leaves were also given
a touch of texture paste for a bit of added interest.

The sweet little script words I have used on this layout are a new release item,
& are called "Mini Words #1" and they come eight different words in the pack.
They are a great size to add in here & there.

My last piece I have used is yet another new release item, & that is the
"Frame-Handrawn Hearts".
These come in two different sizes in a pack & are the perfect frame to
showcase your photo like I have done here & they are so lovely & fine too.

I'll be back in a couple of days with part two of my September reveal.
Until then.

Scraps of Darkness DT Reveal
Part Three
"Cherish This Little Easter Bunny"

Hi friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part three three of my DT reveal for

This is a pic of my beautiful Grandaughter Mia dressed up in
her bunny ears for her very first Easter. I think she looks sooo cute.

This is made from various goodies from the current
"Weathered & Worn" kit. Scroll down the page to see
the other two layouts I have made using this gorgeous kit.

I have used three papers from this kit, as well as this cute little
metal birdcage which was in last months kit.

The little lace bow was also part of this kit, it was actually cream
but I misted it pink to match in with my layout. Too easy.

Some of my flowers were also from the current kit "floral add on" & again I
have misted them to get the colours I was after. They colour up really well.

Lots of yummy layers from the Marion Smith "Garment Distric" paper
which was also part of this gorgeous kit too. They were perfect for this.

All of my chipboard including the title, bunny, hearts & 2014 date,
are from my favourite chipboard company, 2 Crafty Chipboard.

Make sure you pop over to the Scraps of Darkness  BLOG or FACEBOOK page
& check out what all the other girls have done with this fabulous kit.
Or here is a link to their STORE if you would like to get your hands
on this fabulous kit too.
Until next time.

My Scrap Around the World
September Design Team Reveal
"Mia"

Hi friends, thanks for calling by.
Today I have my September DT reveal for
Scrap Around the World challenge blog.
This is their September moodboard. How beautiful is it?
As soon as I saw it I knew exactly what photo I wanted to
scrap, this gorgeous pic of my beautiful Grandaughter, Mia.
I am really happy how it turned out, with her nestled in a garden
of fairies. Such a wonderful fantasy.

I was sooo inspired by the lovely image of the fairy on the moodboard
as well as the quote. Soooo whimsical.

2Crafty chipboard made me ups some of these gorgeous chippie
words featuring her name. A lovely personal touch I thought.
Thanks 2 Crafty.

This fairy is "the be all to end all". I had two of them & I have been
waiting for just the right project, & I think this is it.

It looks like a real fairytale with the fairy holding
the flower over Mia to shade her.

You couldn't have a fairy garden without lots & lots of flowers,
now could you? I have also included some lovely 2 Crafty chippie
foliage as well & although you cannot see it in the photos,
there is lots of glitter happening here too.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
I hope I have inspired you to join in the fun with this
months challenge & perhaps win one of their many fabulous prizes.

Until next time.
