May DT Reveal for Heartfelt Creations
NEW "Coneflower Stamps & Dies"
Foldout Card

Hi there friends, thanks for calling by. Today I have a "Foldout Card" I created for
I love this NEW stamp set & it looks great in so many different colour combinations too.
Pop over to the blog to see what all the other girls created using the same stamp set.

I stamped these beautiful flowers, die cut them with the matching dies
& then simply coloured them with Distress Inks. Too easy.

PARAGRAPH 1
I have used one of the foldout cards as a template & have cut one out of a cream cardstock, this way I can create this type of card in any colour, however because cardstock is only 12” & these cards are 24” long when folded out, you have to create a little hinge, out of the same cardstock used, (on the inside) to join the two halves. I have actually border punched this hinged piece so it looks pretty & yet is practical too.

PARAGRAPH 2
Next step is to cut three border strips out of a contrasting karft coloured cardstock using the “Fleur Border Die Set” & stick onto card.

PARAGRAPH 3
I have then proceeded to stamp, in the above coloured inks, enough floral pieces to create my flower clusters. I have actually used two pieces of each coneflower & slightly offset them & used foam dots to give these gorgeous flowers some extra dimension.

PARAGRAPH 4
Don’t be afraid to snip the various foliage into pieces & add them in here & there around the coneflowers to create three lovely floral clusters.

PARAGRAPH 5
Now tear a small piece of corrugated card approximately 3”x 1.5” & stick to bottom front corner of card.

Until next time...
