Hello there, thanks for stopping by. Today I have a vintage layout to share with you
& it features this magnificent photo of my "Great Great Aunt" Doris Colless circa 1907.
She was sister to my great grandmother.

I am sooo very lucky to have this photo as well as some other beautiful
family photos taken back in this era.

So for my layout I have used Prima papers from the "Midnight Garden" collection.
It is a slightly older collection but absolutely perfect for scrapping old photos !!!
I did some fussy cutting with the papers which are just sooo beautiful.

A little stencilling with some "Red Amber" Icing Paste, a few splatters,
lots of layers created with the papers I fussy cut from the paper pad & I am almost done!!
I have given a colour wash with some watered down Finnabair Sparks paint in "Iris Potion"
to the Sharon Ziv flowers, which are dusty pink tones, so that they were just the right
shade I was after. I was super happy how they turned out.

I have also added a really old doiley behind my photo which was my
grandmothers too. So happy with how this all came together.

It is wonderful to actually scrap this old photo & also getting to use the old doiley
instead of just having them stored away. This way I get to see them & it gives
me a great joy.
