Exciting News to Share......A NEW Design Team

I am so excited & so happy that I can finally tell you all that I was invited to join the NEW design team over at  "Heart & Soul"
Lydell Quinn, the founder of "The Colour Room" has joined forces with  Cynthia Llorens of "Scrap for Help" & the two have combined forces  & become "Heart & Soul".
Their monthly challenge will consist of a colour pallete & a recycled item
New name, new DT, new look, new concept. Woo Hoo.

My Layout Featured in Scrapbooking Memories Magazine"Cherish"

I know most of you have seen this layout that I did several months ago, but it was featured in the latest edition of "Scrapbooking Memories" magazine. Vol. 16  No.8 on page 64. Naturally it has lots of 2 Crafty chipboard on it too.

My 2 Crafty Chipboard February DT RevealPart Two"Gorgeous"

Hi there, so glad you stopped by. Today I have part two of my

2 CRAFTY CHIPBOARD

DT reveal.  I have gone with a slightly shabby chic look,

green & purple is one of my most fave colour combos & I have

used lots of NEW release chippies from the latest 2 Crafty range.

I have used one of their  NEW Titles- "Gorgeous".

In this pic you can see I have used one of the NEW

"Circle Revolution Frames"

around my photo to draw the eye in. These come with

 three different sizes on a sheet. Great value.

I have also added touches of gold for a rich & opulent feel.

These are another  NEW RELEASE piece called "Rose Sets".

 I finished them off  by adding some purple micro beads.

Here I have used yet another NEW piece. This new piece is from

a set called "Ornate Hearts" . I do love how  it has a  leafy flourish.

My 2 Crafty Chipboard February DT RevealPart One"Those Eyes That Smile"

Hi there, thanks for calling by. Today I have part one of my
February reveal for
 2 Crafty chipboard.

This first layout is of a friends daughter, which you may have seen before
as they did a photo shoot & I am so lucky to have been given lots of the pics.

To start with I used lots of Washi Tapes from Green Tara  along
 both the top & bottom edges of my layout.

Title-"Those Eyes That Smile" is one of 2 Crafty's newest releases.

Also I have tucked one of their tiny "Film Strips" in on

the side of the page too.

Here you can also see  some tiny stars

from the NEW  "ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars" pack to

just scatter around the page.

In amongst my layers I have also tucked in some

of the "Giant Gears" which also come in a multi pack.

These are one of my "go to" chippie pieces as they just seem

to work on all sorts of different layouts for both boys & girl pages.

And more......

At the side of my flower cluster I have tucked in a little girl

 chippie from the 2 Crafty  "Happy Children" Multi Pack.

Isn't she sweet?

My Green Tara February DT RevealPart Three"Love"PLUS It was "Featured" at Berry71Bleu Blog

 

  Hi there, thanks for droppin by. Today I have my layout that I created for part three of GREEN TARA  February DT reveal.  I did an online tutorial over at Pop & Colours #2 with the very talented Georgia Heald so I have based this layout on the tutorial & naturally I have used lots of Lovely Green Tara products.   I have also entered it in this months challenge over at "Berry 71 Blue" challenge blog. This months challenge was to do a mixed media project using more than one medium & my layout here certainly does that.   FOOTNOTE..... I just found out that this layout was  "Featured"   over at the Berry71Bleu blog.

The challenge criteria.......

The background here was created using, gesso, texture paste, 

various mists, paints &  inks.

Some yummy Green Tara Washi Tapes.

Lots of different Green Tara flowers & roses. The teale ones were actually

white but I have misted them to make them just the right colour to suit my layout.

I found this quote which I thought suited our newlyweds perfectly. Don't you just love it. Well thats all for today. Until next time.

My Green Tara February DT RevealPart Two"Favourite"

Hello there, thanks for stopping by.

Today I have part two of my February DT reveal for 

GREEN TARA.

 I have featured some of my favouite blooms.

 I do so love these colours, it really brings life into the garden.

 I have based this layout on the current sketch

challenge over at Skissedella.

I have turned the sketch on its side ..

Lots of fun creating the background with various  mixed media

and teamed with lots of beautiful Green Tara goodies.

A match made in heaven.

 

All of these beautiful flowers, roses, rosebuds & leaves are all from Green Tara.

Note the beautiful "Silver & Pearl Spray" coming out from beneath the flower cluster.

Green Tara also have rather an extensive range of these types of "Blingy Bits".

I am really enjoying re visiting bling & sparkle.

I have used some of their white "Wired Cord" to create this circle

frame around my photo to help draw the eye. This is amazing stuff

& it has wire in it so you can bend it anyways & it stays put.

Great product to work with & it comes in various colours too.

Love these Green Tara "Silk Flowers with a Swarovski Crystal Centre".

Again lots of different colours available & because of the crystal in the 

middle they really sparkle & shine.

I have also added some of their "Silver Mesh" underneath my photo too.

My chipboard title is from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

My Green Tara February DT RevealPart One"Precious"

Hello everyone today I have a very special layout to share with you,

 as part one of my February DT reveal for Green Tara.

I would like to formerly  introduce you to my beautiful

 NEW Grandaughter, Mia. This is the very first layout

 I have done of her (the first of many more to come) as she was only

 born two weeks ago & now  I am a Grandmother for the very first time. 

 In this pic she was just one day old & I think she is just soooooo sweet.

  Love her to bits.

Naturally I have used lots of gorgeous Green Tara products,

Some of the wonderful Green Tara "laces" that they have in their range as well as

some of their ever popular "Herringbone Ribbons" in both peach & aqua.

Some of their vast range of different sized "Roses" & "Mini Rosebuds"

which I have sprayed to get the exact colour I needed to match the ribbons.

One of their "Azelea"  flowers which I also sprayed to match,

as well I have tied this bow using yet another beautiful Green Tara

"Double Sided Satin Ribbon" .

Both the chipboard title "Precious" as well as the "2014"

are from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

This is the NEW FEBRUARY MOODBOARD

for Scrap Around the World.

Love this moodboard & I have taken my inspiration from the

pink & aqua colours from the top picture as well as the hearts

from the middle picture.

I have used lots of NEW release pieces of 2 Crafty chipboard

including this new title, mini hearts & theses cute little

birds holding the hearts. Just perfect for my layout.

Some gorgeous Green Tara flowers & roses & aqua trim.

Hope I have inspired you in some small way to join in this months challenge

at "Scrap Around the World" .
