I am sooo happy with this kit and the whole colour palette.

Just that touch if black makes it quite different from most Christmas themes.

I will show you how to create this simple but effective mixed media background.

This kit is a unisex one & would be suitable for both boy & girl Chrissy photos,

Got to love that little Santa peeking out from behind the photo

and both the lovely little flower clusters.

"Whats A Girl To Do"A Mixed Media Design Team Project For2Crafty Chipboard

Hi there, thanks for stopping by the blog.
Today I have a mixed media layout to show
 you that I had lots of fun creating !!

This layout is not going to be a kit & is simply

 a design team creation for 2Crafty Chipboard.

After creating this mixed media background using

lots of stencils, Dylusion sprays & stamping I then set

about choosing my chipboard pieces!!

I decided that title
"Whats A Girl To Do"

was perfect & would suit all sorts of pages.

I had actually sprayed my flowers to match the layout & I

felt by adding the little chipboard "Lattice Leaves" & painting

them black just helped bring it all together.

I think the other star piece on this layout would have to be the

"Arials Spray", it is such a beautiful flourish piece & kind of

underlines the title perfectly too.

 Well I hope you like my layout today & I will be back with my next

I just love the earthy natural feel of this kit and of course all the lovely textures too.

From the corrugated, to the string bow, to all the frayed muslin,

to the micro beads. I just think it has such a great vibe.

Soooo happy how this kit turned out.

I have included that fabulous Burlap flower again in this kit.
I know we have used it before but it is such a “show stopper” !!
 I just looove it.

"Limited Edition"Design Team Layout For2Crafty Chipboard

Hello there, thanks so much for stopping by.

Today I have a new little mixed media layout to show you & it

is my latest "Design Team" project for my good friends over at
2Crafty Chipboard.

UNFORTUNATELY I WON"T BE RELEASING THIS ONE AS A KIT

AS I HAVE USED LOTS OF OLDER PRODUCTS FROM MY STASH SO

THIS ONE WILL GO STRAIGHT IN MY ALBUM !! 

After firstly creating my background with lots & lots of layers,
I then set to work adding all the lovely 2Crafty chipboard pieces
& flowers, string, shells & micro beads.
All these things help to add wonderful textures.

 I have maintained a totally neutral colour palette
& with all the different textures I think that worked well.

I just love the fussy cut flowers on this layout, they are soooo

pretty plus they are an easy image to cut out too &

they really pack a punch !!

Plus we are creating this wonderful stencilled paint technique.

I always love the texture that corrugated card adds to any layout

& when it is teamed with sooo many feminine accessories it 

really packs a punch.
