Creative Challenge - YOUR COUNTRY COLOURS
What does the word ORIGINS inspire you to create? You can choose to use the
actual word somewhere on your project or simply be inspired by it. Please explain
in your blog post how it inspired you if it isn't obvious in your work.
For the creative challenge, we want you to wave YOUR COUNTRY COLOURS loud and proud! We ask that you create your project using colours that represent your part of the world.
You can choose to use the colours in your country's flag, or the colour of your national
flower or animal. You can even be inspired by the colours of a well known attraction or
place or even custom that embodies your origins. Make sure to name in your blog post the
colours you chose and explain why.
I was inspired by the word ORIGIN to go with the whole "green & gold" theme which
are Australia's national colours, although not the colours of our flag. These are the colours
all our athletes wear when competing internationally & for the Olympics etc.
For the CREATIVE part of the challenge I found these great pics of old Australian
postage stamps featuring wattle which is our national flower & the other one has an
Australian bird on it, then I threw lots of flowers on it in our green & gold colour scheme.
