Today I have an "altered mixed Media" paint brush to show you
which is the May DT challenge over at the Prima Marketing Inc. blog....
This months challenge is to use....

I started out with an old paint brush, primed it with a couple of coats of white gesso
& then coloured it up using some "Art Alchemy" Metallique paint
in the colour "Gold". Such a lovely rich colour.
Next up I then rubbed on lots & lots of "Art Alchemy" Wax Pastes
in the colours of "Peacock", "Mint Sparkle" & "Vintage Gold".

Next up I then rubbed on lots & lots of "Art Alchemy" Wax Pastes
in the colours of "Peacock", "Mint Sparkle" & "Vintage Gold".
My next step was to colour up two of the beautiful "Grungy Frames" moulds.
Firstly I coloured them with "Art Alchemy" teal paint in the colour of "Emerald Green",
followed by brushing on some of the "Gold" metallique paint again,
to show up all the gorgeous details on these frames.

I then proceeded to stick on both frames, some flowers, both old & new, as well
as some die cut pieces which I also painted in the "Gold" paint to match in
with this beautiful colour scheme. I little gold foliage die cut was given a
make over using some of the wonderful "Art Ingredients" Fine Metallic Flakes
in the colour of "Venice" for some added sparkle.
