My First DT Reveal For Heartfelt Creations
"Treasure & Enjoy"

Hi friends thanks for stopping by.
Today I have my very first post as part of the NEW
I am so happy to be part of such a great team.

This layout was actually part of my DT application to them,
and here we are today & it is up on their blog. I am a happy lady.

I have hand made every single flower & leaf on this layout
using their "Sweet Peony" stamp sets & matching dies.

It is a bit hard to see in the photos but there is
lots of glitter & sparkle happening here.

I have also used one of the larger stamps from this collection on my background,
heat embossed to create a resist & then sprayed it with some Lindy's
"Hottie Patottie Pink" spray to create a watercolour background.

All the gorgeous chipboard is from 2Crafty Chipboard.
I thought I would do it in plain black to make a nice contrast.

If you are interested, there is a full set of instructions below....

Instructions:
PARAGRAPH 1   Using the Small Sweet Peony stamp set & Black Soot Distress Ink, stamp several different flower images. Then  using the Classic Rose stamp set & the Black Soot ink, stamp four foliage flourishes. Be sure to stamp multiples of the medium flowers as we are going to layer those up.

PARAGRAPH 2   Die cut out all the flowers & foliage.

PARAGRAPH 3    Using the above three coloured inks,  colour a selection of grey, black & pink flowers. Colour the four flourish foliage pieces with the black in making sure to leave the veining detail visible. Now turn them all over & give them a very light spritz with some water. Now using some flower shaping tools, shape all the pieces to give them a realistic look. The water will help make this process easier & it also helps them to maintain their shape once dry.

PARAGRAPH 4   Once all flowers are dry you can commence adding some sparkle. To all the black flowers add a little glue to their middles & add a sprinkling of black crushed glass glitter. To all the pink & grey flowers add some silver crushed glass glitter to the middles. If you don’t have any crushed glass glitter, then ordinary glitter would work fine.

PARAGRAPH 5   For a selection of both the grey & black flowers, randomly add a little glue around the edges of their petals & sprinkle with some “Sparkle Dust” or something similar. This has no colour so it takes on the colour of the flower & adds loads of sparkle & shimmer to your flowers. Set aside to dry.

Until next time....

My 2Crafty Chipboard April DT Reveal
Part Two
"A Wish Come True"

Hi there friends, back with you again today to share part two
of my April DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard.

 2Crafty Chipboard Product Used...
Grid Panel
Thistle Shrub
A Wish Come true - title
11" Tanyahs Border

For the title, "A Wish Come True" I simply heat embossed it
with some Lindy's "Desert Moon Turquoise" embossing powder.

I think the standout chipboard piece on this layout would have to be the
11" Tahnays Border which I have glued down vertically.
I heat embossed it with Lindy's "Queen Sheba's Silver" embossing powder.

In the above photo you can see the "Grid Panel" chippie piece which I have
also heat embossed with the above two embossing powders. By sprinkling the
chipboard with both coloured powders it gives a nice two tone effect.

I then cut the "Grid Panel" into several pieces & poked them in here & there.

You can probably see the two tone effect on the chipboard better in this photo.

I have used both paper & flowers from 49 and Market.
These flowers are sooo beautiful.

The last chipboard piece I used was the "Thistle Shrub" which I also heat embossed
in the same colour as the title, before cutting it in two & poking in amongst the flowers.

Viola, all finished.
Hope you like my layout today.
See you back here soon with more inspiration.

Remember if you like my layout I would love you to leave me a comment.

Until next time..

My 2Crafty Chipboard April DT Reveal
Plus "Scrap the Boys" April Challenge
"I'm A Big Kid Now"

Hi there friends. Thanks for stopping by.
Today I have a layout to show you that features my grandson Henry & it is also part of
my April DT work for 2Crafty Chipboard.  I was inspired to go with the whole
triangle theme by the current challenge over at
challenge blog.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used...
I'm A Big Kid Now - title
Triangle Clusters
Triangle Set

You can see I have even cut my photos into triangles to continue with my theme
as well I have stencilled my background with a triangle stencil too.

I have a new stamp & had been dying to use it so this challenge was just perfect.
I stamped & heat embossed the triangle clusters & then coloured them with
watercolour crayons before cutting them all out.& mounting them on foam.

I also cut up lots of pieces of coloured cardstock into triangles, drew borders
on them with black pen & layered them underneath the photos.

How great do those "Triangle Clusters" look in black against
all the bright colours. It really makes them pop !!

2Crafty Chipboard has so many great fun shapes, just perfect for kids layouts.

Here you can see I have used three pieces from the
"Triangle Set" to create some triangular arrows.

So there you have it. A fun bright & easy layout &
I have managed to used three photos too.
Thanks for the inspiration "Scrap the Boys".

Well thats all for today.

Until next time.

My 49 and Market April DT Reveal
Part Two
"Treasure / Beauty"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have another layout to share with you for
It features my new baby Grandaughter Audrey. She is such a little cutie. I think I
warned you all last month that her parents had a professional photo shoot done & I am
lucky to have all these gorgeous photos to scrap, so baby layout overload perhaps !!

49 and Market Product Used...
"Tropical Paradise" Laser Cuts
Rusty Autumn “Blooming Autumn” paper (background)
Tattered Garden “Tattered Playground” paper (front - torn)
“Botanical Blends” flowers in Snow white
“Vintage Shades Potpourri” flowers in Orchid

I think the star of this layout, apart from my beautiful grand daughter, would have to be the
NEW "Tropical Paradise" Laser Cuts. Thats the beautiful pinky mauve flower sprays
at both the right & left sides of my photos.

The main paper I have used & torn on my layout is one of the NEW
"Tattered Garden" papers. It is such a lovely collection.

I have also used some of the "Botanical Blends" flowers in white & I just added a few
small  “Vintage Shades Potpourri” flowers in Orchid as it is a perfect match to the laser cuts.

The little chipboard words I have used, "Treasure / Beauty" are from 2Crafty Chipboard.

I also did a little background with my favourite 49 and Market Stamp ie "Scripted Squared".

Another layout complete. This was yet another super easy layout but when you are
using such beautiful & well co ordinated products, it doesn't have to be complicated.
Sometimes less is more as they say.

Well thats all from me today.

Until next time.

My April DT Reveal for 49 and Market
Part One
"Sweet Smile"

Hi there friends. Today I have a layout to share with you using one of the brand NEW
"Laser Cut" embellishments from 49 and Market. These are totally fabulous & no more fussy cutting. That has to be a bonus. They come on a sheet & you just pop them out.

On this layout I have used the "Dandelion Fields". I love them.

49 and Market Products Used....
"Dandelion Fields" laser Cuts
Vintage Artistry - "Seeds of Love" paper
Vintage Shades "Botannical Potpourri" flowers in yellow
Burlap Trim
Jute Cording
"Gabi's Crackle Texture" Stamp Set

For my background I have used the ever popular
49 and Market "Vintage Artistry - Seeds of Love" paper.
A little bit of mixed media on the background & then I just set about adding the
photos & all these gorgeous flowers & laser cut embellishments. This was that easy.

My chipboard title, "Sweet Smile" is from 2Crafty Chipboard.

I created some nice layering & textures behind my photos by using their fabulous "Burlap Trim".

How gorgeous are all these elements from their laser cuts?
Sure makes for yummy layering!!

No layout would be complete without some of their beautiful blooms.
Here I have used the Vintage Shades flowers.

I finished off with a lovely natural bow nested in amongst all those gorgeous flowers.
I also added a little bit of very light background stamping using one of the many
stamp sets available from 49 and Market. A great way to add some visual texture.

A little bit of corrugated cardboard & there you go, all finished.
 I hope you like it.
Back in a couple of days with more.

If you like my layout I would love you to leave me a comment.

Until then.
