My 2Crafty Chipboard April DT Reveal
Part Two
"Capture The Moment"

Hello there lovelies, thanks for calling by my blog.
Today I have part two of my April DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard
& using one of my favourite colour combinations.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Capture the Moment - title
Leaft Shrub Set #2
Addy's Butterflies

All the chipboard pieces were first coated in some white paint
to base coat them. Then for my title I brushed on a little
Lindy's Stamp Gang "Tea Pot Purple" spray, I also used this spray
on some of my flowers as well as my background too.

I have used three pieces of chipboard foliage from Leafy Shrub Set #2
which I simply painted white & when dry I added a little Stickles on it.

For the Addy's Butterflies after an initial coat of white acrylic paint
I then gave them a spray with some Lindy's Stamp Gang - Sassy Saphire.

I have done lots of mixed media on my background, added some Lindy's sprays,
did a little stamping & added some Prills for added texture.

Not to mention the addition of some beautiful flowers.
Hey presto, all finished.

If you like my layout I would love you to leave me
a comment as I always enjoy reading your feedback.

Until next time.

My April DT Reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard
"You Make Me Happy When Skies Are Grey"

Hello there lovelies, thank for stopping by the blog.
Today I have a layout I did as part of my April DT work for
2Crafty Chipboard & it features my gorgeous grandson Henry.
He has the face of an angel although sometimes he sure doesn't act like one !!

 2Crafty Chipboard used...
Title - "You Make Me Happy"
Steampunk Gears - Small
Steampunk Gears - Medium
Giant Gears & Cogs
2016 Dates

I started off with this fabulous 2Crafty "title" that I heat embossed in this gorgeous
Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powder - Queen of Sheba Silver.
Perfect to achieve a metal look.

I also heat embossed, in the same colour, both the
"2016" date & the little "Geotag" above it.

I wanted the whole layout to be very monochromatice look so I have kept it in
these metal tones.  For ALL the different sized "Gears & Cogs"
I treated them all in the same way..
#1.   I inked them all in black ink.
#2.   Then I blobbed on some embossing ink with a dauber.
#3.   Then I sprinkled on some more of the same embossing powder.
#4.   Then I simply heat embossed them to achieve a realistic metal look.

I have used a Lindy's Stamp Gang "Black Orchid Silver "spray for my background.
Love this colour. It is a sort of a silver colour with fabulous pinkish brown undertones.

I have a few of these ".com" metal embellishments in my stash & I have been
dying to use them, so I teamed it with the little light globe that says "cute",
& I have.... "", love love love it !!

Well thats all from me today.

Until next time.

If you like my layout I would love you to leave a
comment as I truly LOVE hearing your feedback.

My April DT Reveal for
Lindy's Stamp Gang Colour Challenge

Hi there lovelies, thanks for calling by.
Today I have my DT reveal for the April Colour Challenge over on the

This is the April colour challenge image !!

As you know you have to use at least two of these colours or
something very similar if you don't have these.
PLUS you can use neutrals too.

I have used...

This month all the Lindy's DT girls did a swap with all the DT girls from the
Stampotique Blog. Lots of us used their stamps & lots of them used our sprays etc.
It has been fun trying out some other products.

They have amazing stamps, especially for ART JOURNALLERS !!!

The Stampotique Stamps I used were....

I started off by stamping, with the "Kassa's Bloom Stamp"
on the background of my canvas & then heat embossed it with
Lindy's "Purely White Embossing Powder".

I also stamped & heat embossed some extra flowers on some white cardstock.
Next step was to brush on some Lindy's Raspberry Lemonade Spray followed by some
Lindy's Hibiscus Rose to all the flowers to add some contrast highlights on each flower
on both the canvas & the spare ones too.
Last step was to fussy cut a bunch of these gorgeous blossoms & start layering
them up with some other flowers.
A super simple project but I am really happy with how it turned out!!

I do hope you will play along with us over at Lindy's Stamp Gang  challenge
this month and as always they have five $50 store vouchers to be won.

Until next time.
