More August Inspiration for 2Crafty Chipboard
"Treasure The Little Things"

Hi everyone, thanks for calling by. Today I have a layout to share with you
that I have used a couple of the NEW RELEASE pieces of 2Crafty Chipboard on.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used...
"Treasure the Little Things" - title - NEW RELEASE
ATC Word Banner Set - NEW RELEASE
Mini Flourish Bits
4" Mandala - NEW RELEASE

I love this  "Treasure the Little Things" title.
I have given it a couple of coats of white acrylic paint & when dry
I very lightly wiped a Prima "Farmer Jeans" dark blue ink pad over the top half.
Too easy.

I have used a few pieces of the "Mini Flourish Bits" poked in here & there.

Here you can see I have used our NEW release "4" Mandala" circle.
I cut it in half and have poked a piece in either side of the photos.

This "Mandala" is such a lovely piece. It also comes in a 6" as well.

For both the "Mini Flourish Bits" & the "Mandala" I firstly gave them a coat of
white acrylic paint & when dry I very lightly wiped them over with another Prima Ink pad.
This time I used Prima "Teak Wall" & then wiped most of it off with my finger.

I just wanted a hint of the brown colour.

Another NEW RELEASE chippie piece I have used is one of these
"ATC Word Banner Set" words- "So Sweet".
Just the perfect little sentiment.

Well thats another layout complete. I hope I have inspired you to
try some of the gorgeous NEW RELEASE pieces on your next project too.

Until next time...

Island Paradise “Beachy Sands” paper – NEW RELEASE
Floral Mixology Flowers in \Purple Rain – Since discontinued

I started off my background with a little mixed media to help set the scene.

Turkish Lanterns

Those new “Stargazer Flowers” in the white look so good against
the “Beachy Sands” paper. A perfect match.

Some August DT Inspiration For
2Crafty Chipboard
"You Are Awesome"

Hi there friends, thanks for calling by the blog today.
I have a boy layout to share with you that features my little grandson Henry climbing
on this play gym thing at the park. I though these were such great pics to scrap.

 2Crafty Chipboard Products Used...
You Are Awesome - title
6" Fencing Wire Panel
Steampunk Gears - small
Steampunk Arrow Set (new release)
Steampunk Collage (new release)

For the title I have used a two tone effect by simply inking the top half of the title
with a black ink pad & then I covered the black part with a scrap of paper to
protect it & then proceeded to paint the bottom half with some orange acrylic paint.

All of the other chipboard pieces were simply wiped over with a black ink pad &
then I rubbed a little Finnibair Art Alchemy Metallique Wax in Brushed Iron
over them to give a metal effect.

In the above pic you can see one of the NEW release
"Steampunk Arrows" at the side of the photo.

In the above pic, on the left side of my photos I have used one of the
NEW release "Steampunk Collage" pieces.

Love these NEW chippie pieces, just the perfect embellishment for those boy layouts.

A few of the "Steampunk Gears" scattered around for extra interest.

A little mixed media on my background, just a couple of flowers,
a couple of flair badges which I make myself,
& viola, another layout finished!!
Hope I have inspired you to try some of our new pieces
on your next project too.

My August DT Reveal for 49 and Market
"Love"

Hello there paper peeps. Thanks for stopping by. Today I have a layout to share
with you that I created as part of my August DT reveal for
I used papers from the “Tattered Garden” paper collection.
This stunning paper I have used for my background is called “Tattered Flourish”.

49 and Market Products Used….
  Tattered Garden “Tattered Flourish” paper
Wedded Bliss Laser Cuts
6×6 Archival Board “Love” in white
Wedded Bliss Stamp Set
Vintage Shades flowers in Orchid
Vintage Shades Blossoms in Aqua

Here you can see the bricks, padlock & LOVE word from the archival board “Love” set.
This set comes in white chipboard so there is no need to paint it if you don’t want.

I have mixed the two different colour flowers up to create a garden effect.
I have also used lots of the laser cuts from the “Wedded Bliss” set. These are amazing
& the best part there is,  no scissors are needed !! That is definitely a bonus.

I used the fern stamp from the “Wedded Bliss Stamp Set”. I LOVE this.
I think the fern stamp is my NEW fave.

More of those gorgeous little bricks & more of the laser cuts too.

Lots of Prills on my background for added texture.

All finished. Hope you liked it & that perhaps I have inspired you just a little
to add some of these wonderful products to your next creation too.

Until next time.

My "More Than Words" Challenge
August DT Reveal
"Memories"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by the the blog today.
Here I have my DT reveal for the August challenge over at the
More Than Words  challenge Blog.

Our August challenge is all about VINTAGE !!
So this month our challenge word is "YESTERDAY".
Either use the word somewhere on your project or take inspiration from it.
I think the photo I have used embraces the word yesterday.

Our creative challenge is "VINTAGE".
I don't think vintage takes any explanation.
I think my entire layout is a salute to yesterday & vintage.

For my layout I have scrapped this photo of my mother in law who passed
away back in 2003. She really was a wonderful woman. This pic was taken
when she was in her twenties so that makes it somewhere in the nineteen thirties.

The papers & flowers I have used are all from 49 and Market.

All these gorgeous chippies I have used are from 2Crafty Chipboard.

You can see here the way I have tied my layout in string, like a parcel.
I have only ever done this with string once before, & that was a few years ago,
so I thought I would try it out again.

An old crotched doiley, old sheet music & old book pages.
Some clock faces, & even my chipboard is "skeleton clock faces"
because I always think that clocks are symbolic of time.

A little bit of background work with stencilling,
light stamping & some scattered Prills for texture.

Well there you have it, another layout completed.
I hope you can find some time to play along with us this month over at
More Than Words challenge blog too.
As always we have EIGHT fabulous prizes on offer too.

Until next time.
