A Mixed Media Self Portrait"A Moment Captured"

Hi there, thanks so much for calling by.

Today I have a rare self portrait to show you.

Lots Of mixed media, some lovely pieces of my favourite

2Crafty Chipboard, lots of bright colours & some sweet little flowers too.

. This one was part of my design team work

2Crafty Chipboard this week.

After creating my mixed media background with 

stencilling, sprays, inks & stamping I then set to work

on the chipboard colouring it up with acrylic paints to

customise it to create a nice consistent colour palette.

 

I decided to tear & also do some "paper punching" & some layering
 down the left side of my page to add a point of difference. I also used an
"embroidery stamp" to stamp both the top & bottom edges too.

Here is a close up photo of my background where

you can see the detail. Maybe it might inspire you

to try something similar.

This layout is suitable for either one or two photos,
I have used two but one photo works just as well,

the choice is yours as to how many photos.

Look at all those beautiful layers, cutouts, textures & more!!

where I show you a couple of great techniques. 

In the video I also show you how to do these "paint effects" also.

As well I will show you how to create this fabulous

string frame to go around your photos & then we will finish 

it all off with this fantastic great big, several layer bow!!

I think this is definitely the icing on the cake.

Check out all those gorgeous flowers & that sweet little

bumble bee embellishment sitting on the side of the

"Chain Circle Frame" too !!

Lastly we finish this layout off with some "Word Strips" as well

as a sprinkling of little wooden hearts. To cute.

"Timeless"A Vintage Layout Featuring My Great GrandmotherA Design Team Creation For 2Crafty Chipboard

  Hi there lovelies, thanks for stopping by. 

Today I have an extra special layout & that is because I have used

this beautiful photo of my Great Grandmother,

I absolutely adore this photo of her.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...

"Timeless Beauty" - title ...I trimmed the word "Beauty off the title

"Corner Whispy Vine"

"Lucy Flourish Frame"

"Corner Swirly Heart Set"

The 2Crafty chipboard pieces I have used are firstly this title

which actually says "Timeless Beauty" but I trimmed the word

BEAUTY off so that it would be a perfect title to suit my vintage theme.

All the chipboard was heat embossed with a copper colour.

On the left side of my photo I have also used one of the
"Swirly Heart Corners" & on the right side of my layout
I have trimmed a small piece from the "Corner Whispy Vine".

The last piece of chipboard I have used is a

"Lucy Flourish Frame" which I trimmed the frame off &

then I tucked it in below my photo & used it vertically.
