More 2Crafty Chipboard Inspiration
"Perfection"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have some more DT inspiration for my favourite
This one is a little bit modern & a little bit vintage.

I had sooooooo much trouble photographing this layout & these pics really
don't show it off properly. The paper is a lovely rich purple & the stencilling is
a rich gold, but unfortunately the paper looks washed out & the gold looks brassy !!!
I hate it when that happens. Grrr.

 2Crafty Products Used....
Perfection - title
Decorative Rod Set #1
Frame Edith
Frame - Shirley
Tiny Henri's Frame

Firstly for the "Perfection" title, I painted it in a green coloured acrylic paint to match,
followed by a coat of crackle paste & then finished it off with some Finnibair
gold Wax Paste.

A little bit of background stencilling & some Lindy's sprays too.

I also used papers from 49andMarket.

Next I set about altering these three 2Crafty chippie frames, listed above,
the same way I altered the title but I was a bit more heavy handed with
the crackle paste. Then I just started layering them up.

You can also see either side of the clustering I have placed a piece of the
"Decorative Rod Set" which I heat embossed in gold.

I was really happy how the frames turned out, especially when layered up.

Another layout complete. I hope this has perhaps
given you some ideas for your next project too.
Until next time...

"Timeless" - Self Portrait
My July DT Reveal for 49 and Market

Hello there paper friends. Thanks for stopping by the blog.
Today I have part two of my July DT reveal for 49 and Market to share with you
& I have used these pics of myself as a baby. I thought that look on my face was pretty cute !!

49 and Market Products Used...
1 x Bonus Sheet from the "Dandelion Fields" Laser Cuts
3 x Tattered Garden "Tattered Playground" papers
1 x Stargazer Flowers in Periwinkle

Frame
Timeless - title
Memories Banner

I have used three pieces of the "Tattered Playground" papers.
One piece for the background & I fussy cut lots of those gorgeous
flowers & leaves from the other two pieces & I have added them in.

I will use all the leftovers on another project in the future.

Here you can see the fabulous NEW "Stargazer Flowers" which I gave a light brush
over with the tiny amount on a "Shaded Lilac" Distress Ink - re inker, mixed with
some water. I just wanted to intensify the already beautiful colour.

Next step I cut out all the awesome postcard & clock images out of
the "Bonus Sheet" that comes with the "Dandelion Fields" Laser Cuts
& I have used them to layer up behind my photos.

I did a small amount of stencilling on my background with a lovely metallic paste by
Colour Blast & I also added some great textures with both art stones & Prills.

Another layout complete !! Back soon with more.
Remember if you like my layout I would really appreciate
it if you could leave me a comment.

Until next time.

Some BOY Layout Inspiration For
2Crafty Chipboard
#Awesome

Hi there 2Crafty fans. Thanks for stopping by the blog.
Today I have a boy layout to share with you using lots of great

I have also used this great paper from 49andMarket.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Square Collage Panel
Geometric Arrows
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars
Polaroid Assortment Pack
#Awesome-title
Chain Lengths

To start off with I base coated all the pieces of chippie that I was
going to colour up with a coat of white acrylic paint first.

All the chippies that were going to be black I didn't need to basecoat, I just
simply coloured them with a black ink pad face down to wipe over them.
I cut the "Square Collage Panel" into pieces & sponged a tiny bit
of white gesso on to create some definition from the the background.

The "Polaroid Assortment Frames" were painted with some red acrylic paint
after being basecoated in white & when dry I stamped on them with a script
stamp & sponged a little black ink around the edges.
Love how the frames turned out.

I love how the "Square Collage Panel" all cut up
& poked around the photos to draw the eye in looks.
Got to love that #AWESOME title looks in red !

Here you can see the "Geometric Arrows" & a few "ATC Tiny Stars"
which I painted in a yellow acrylic paint to add a point of difference.

Well thats another boy layout done & dusted.
I hope I have given you a few ideas for your next boy layout.
Until next time.

My 49 and Market July DT Reveal
Part One
"Gorgeous"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have a layout to share with you that
I created as part of my 49 and Market July DT work. I used the NEW “Stargazer” flowers
along with this most gorgeous paper from their “Tattered Garden” collection.
I then finished it all off with my most favourite product, some of the 49 and Market “Laser Cuts”.

49 and Market Products Used…
“Memory” paper from the “Tattered Garden” collection
Stargazers – flowers in Petal Pink
“Tropical Paradise” Laser Cuts

I did a very small amount of stencilling on the background as this paper has
such beautiful soft patterns I didn’t want to cover it up.

Now for these gorgeous “Stargazers” flowers, I wanted to deepen the
colour slightly so I gave them all a light spray with some Lindy’s spray.

I also sprayed some gauze with the same colour spray so that it would match the flowers.

Here you can see I have used some of these fabulous laser cuts from the “Tropical Paradise”
set. They all matched in so perfectly. These laser cuts just add that extra wow factor to
your flower clusters.

The laser cuts also come with some fabulous leaves which I have tucked in around my layout too.

Some beautiful 2Crafty chipboard completes my layout.

Here you can closeup of the fabulous laser cut leaves.

There you have it, another layout complete. I must say I never tire of using these
beautiful products. I will be back later in the month with more inspiration for you.

Until then.

My "More Than Words" Challenge
July DT Reveal
"Today"

Hi there lovelies. Thanks for stopping by.
Today I have my DT reveal to show you for
the July challenge over at More Than Words challenge blog.
 This is the July challenge.
The WORD this month is BEACH & the CREATIVE challenge is to use SHELLS.
Such a great fun challenge, & sooo easy too.

I started off by using this fabulous paper from 49 and Market
from one of their newer collections ie"Captured Adventures".

Some of my favourite 2Crafty Chipboard.

Naturally I added some 49 and Market flowers too.

As part of the challenge was to use SHELLS I also added some around
the page along with some mesh & some gauze too.

A little mixed media on the background, but I basically wanted to keep
it all white, & without any colour to keep with the beachy theme.

All finished & super easy. I hope you can find time to play al\ong with
this months challenge too. As always we have eight great prizes on offer.

Until next time.
