More May DT Inspiration For
Heartfelt Creations

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have another card to share as part of my May DT inspiration for

This was a "Mothers Day " card I created but by simply changing the
greeting on the front it would be suitable for a birthday card
or perhaps a thank you card too.

Naturally all the stamps & dies I have used to create this card are
all available in the Heartfelt Creations Webstore.

INSTRUCTIONS

Fold a 6.5”x 5” card and using the scalloped die from the “Eyelet Oval Die Set”, place it just over the edge of the spine of the card & run it through your die cut machine a couple of times. By placing it over the spine of the card, the spine will remain in tact & not get cut through. Then cut another piece of white card using the die with the little holes in it from the same set. Ink the edges of both pieces very softly with “Broken China” Distress Ink & then using foam tape, stick the eye oval onto the front of the card.

Now stamp and cut one set of flowers on white card using the “Small Classic Petunia” stamp & die set and two flower vines from the “Large Classic Petunia” stamp and die set using the “Watering Can Grey” ink.

Colour all these flowers & vines with “Pickled Raspberry”, “Broken China” & the leaves with the “Leaf Green” ink. Lightly spritz the backs with water & use shaping tools to create flower shape.
When all dry, for the two blue flowers layer up one of the larger petal with one of the smaller petals & for the pink flower layer up two of the smaller size petals.

Snip both vines into pieces & construct card front as per my sample. Dab a small amount of glue in all flower centre & sprinkle with a small amount of white Prills. Using your finger, dab a tiny bit of the turquoise Kindy Glitz onto all the blue petals.

Lastly either paint or heat emboss a card greeting & stick it onto card front. I have used a “Happy Mothers Day” greeting but this card would suit a birthday, get well, thank you or most occasions for that matter.

   Well thats all for today.
See you back here soon with more.

Until then...
