Hi friends thanks for stopping by.
Today I have my very first post as part of the NEW
 "Heartfelt Creations" design team.
I am so happy to be part of such a great team.
This layout was actually part of my DT application to them,
and here we are today & it is up on their blog. I am a happy lady.
I have hand made every single flower & leaf on this layout
using their "Sweet Peony" stamp sets & matching dies.
It is a bit hard to see in the photos but there is
lots of glitter & sparkle happening here.
I have also used one of the larger stamps from this collection on my background,
heat embossed to create a resist & then sprayed it with some Lindy's
"Hottie Patottie Pink" spray to create a watercolour background.
All the gorgeous chipboard is from 2Crafty Chipboard.
I thought I would do it in plain black to make a nice contrast.

  1   Using the
Small Sweet Peony stamp set & Black Soot Distress Ink, stamp several
  different flower images. Then  using
the Classic Rose stamp set & the Black Soot ink, stamp four foliage
flourishes. Be sure to stamp multiples of the medium flowers as we are going
  to layer those up.

3    Using the above three coloured inks,  colour a selection of grey, black &
pink flowers. Colour the four flourish foliage pieces with the black in
making sure to leave the veining detail visible. Now turn them all over &
give them a very light spritz with some water. Now using some flower shaping
tools, shape all the pieces to give them a realistic look. The water will
help make this process easier & it also helps them to maintain their
  shape once dry.

  4   Once all
flowers are dry you can commence adding some sparkle. To all the black
flowers add a little glue to their middles & add a sprinkling of black
crushed glass glitter. To all the pink & grey flowers add some silver
crushed glass glitter to the middles. If you don’t have any crushed glass
glitter, then ordinary glitter would work fine.

  5   For a
selection of both the grey & black flowers, randomly add a little glue
around the edges of their petals & sprinkle with some “Sparkle Dust” or
something similar. This has no colour so it takes on the colour of the flower
& adds loads of sparkle & shimmer to your flowers. Set aside to dry.
