My 2Crafty Chipboard September DT Reveal
Part One
"Hello"

Hello friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have part one of my
2Crafty Chipboard September DT reveal to share with you.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Floral Branch
Funky Hearts
Chicken Wire Panel
Flower Doileys
Hello - title

After firstly doing a mixed media background I decided that I thought
that the chipboard title "Hello", would look good left raw.

I did the same with the "Flower Doileys" to tie them in with the title.

How beautiful is this "Floral Branch" ? Such a stunning chippie piece.
I started off by coating it firstly in gesso, then painted the little blossoms in
white paint & I added a little pearl centre with a Viva Pearl Pen.
For the stems I just brushed over with a aqua brush & some brown ink.

I did the same with the "Chicken Wire Panel" as I did to the stems.

Lots of layers & textures.

I have tucked a "Funky Heart" in on the left side of the photos
after first painting it & then stamping on it.

Viola, another layout completed.

Back in a couple of days with some more inspiration.

Until then.

Lindy's Stamp Gang Products used...

For my background I used both the Lindys "Merci Bouquet" & the "Alpine Ice Rose"
sprays.

BE SURE TO WATCH MY VIDEO TO SEE THE TECHNIQUE I USED TO APPLY IT !!
(something done a little bit differently)

For my beautiful 2Crafty Chipboard foliage I did a
"Two Tone Heat Embossing technique"
I was really pleased how this turned out.

On my background I have done lots of mixed media
with stamping & lots of other bits & pieces.

Lots of layers & textures.

All my gorgeous flowers are from 49 and Market.
They really make the nicest flowers, don't you agree?

Well I hope you enjoyed my VIDEO today.

My 49 and Market September DT Reveal
Part Two
"Enjoy the Journey"

Hello there & welcome.
Today I have another layout to share with you that I created using some of the
gorgeous papers from the 49 and Market "Cottage Life" paper collection.

49 and Market Products Used...
Cottage Life "Garden Seeds"
Cottage Life "Garland"
Garden Seed Flowers in both Blush & Aloe
Jute - single strand

To start off I fussy cut out all these gorgeous flowers from the "Cottage Life - Garland"
paper & it has that lovely soft pink base.

I then layered the pink over the top of the "Cottage Life-Garden Seeds" paper which I used as my base & then I used foam dots to layer all these gorgeous paper flowers across the page as well as over & under the photo too.

I also added a few bits of foliage & blossoms from the
49 and Market "Cottage Life-Layered 3D Embellishments Sheet".

All of the chipboard is from 2Crafty Chipboard & I heat embossed it with some
 Lindy's Stamp Gang Embossing Powder.

I have used some of the "Garden Seeds flowers in both Blush & also Aloe".
I have also added a bow I tied using several strands of the new 49 and Market
"Jute Cording-Single Ply". Great way to add some extra texture & detail.

Well thats all for today.

I hope you like my layout. I would love to hear what you think of it.
It is always so nice to read your feedback.

Until next time.

My 49 and Market September DT Reveal
Part One
"Love/Happy"

Hi there, thanks for stopping by. Today I have a layout to show you that I created using
the newest “Cottage Life” paper collection from 49 and Market. As soon as I saw this
I just had to use it, isn’t this collection of papers just gorgeous?

This red wood paper is actually the #B side of the “Rooster Row” paper.  I always say that the
#B sides of the 49 and Market papers are equally as nice as the #A sides. I am sure you will agree.

I have added some various pieces from the matching
“Cottage Life layered 3D Embellishment Sheet” as well.
The little spotted rain boots, the rooster on the right hand side as well as this
brighter blue foliage (above), all came off the 3D sheet. Too easy.

In the above photo you can see I have diecut a scalloped doiley from the #B side of
the “Bicycle Alley” paper to add in amongst my layers as it is all so perfectly
co ordinated for you & makes mixing & matching a breeze.

I diecut a second doiley out of the #B side of the “Watering the Garden” paper & then
proceeded to add a variety of the newest & matching flowers. I am totally in love
with our newest flowers & the detailing in them is amazing.

So many different sizes, shapes, foliage, trims etc, all in the one pack. I love these
little kraft tubes tied together with string, that come in the packs of some of the
new flowers, it just makes the nicest embellishment to add in with your flowers.

Who would have thought to do that?

I have also added some of their new “Jute Cording” behind all the layers to add to the textures.
I think it looks so much better than just adding scrunched cotton behind, don’t you agree?
I have added some Prills, Art Stones & a small amount of white splatters to the background
& viola, all finished.

49 and Market Papers Used...
Cottage Life – “Rooster Row” (red)
Cottage Life – “Watering the Garden” (B side)
Cottage Life – Bicycle Alley (B side)
Cottage Life Layered 3D Embellishment Sheet

49 and Market Flowers Used...
“Blossom Blends” in both Poppy & Bluebell
“Garden Seeds” in Poppy
“Cottage Blossoms” in Cotton
“Floral Mixology” in Pina Colada
Jute Cording – Single Ply

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Arrow Word Set #2
Brick Panel

Back soon with more.
Until next time.

My DT Reveal for the September Colour Challenge at
Lindy's Stamp Gang

Hi there lovelies, thanks for calling by.
Today I have a couple of tags I made for my DT reveal for the
September Colour Challenge over at

This is the Lindy's  September colour challenge board.
I have used...

You have to use a minimum of two of the colours from the challenge board.

For this first tag I have gone for a modern look & have coloured both the tag & the flower
with Lindy's "Delphinium Turquoise" spray which I have diluted slightly with water.

For my second tag I have gone with a real vintage look & I used
the Lindy's "Sandra Dee Sepia" spray first, dried it off & then went
over it with the "Golden Doublooms" spray.

I also sprayed my two flowers, one with each of these colour sprays too.

I hope I have inspired you in some small way to perhaps join in
our colour challenge this month, & as always there are...
FIVE (5) winners of $50 Gift Certificates to the Lindy's store!

Until next time.

My More Than Words Challenge
September DT Reveal
"Loud" !!!!

Hi there lovelies, thanks for calling by.
Today I have my September DT reveal for More Than Words Challenge.
This month the challenge word is "FEARLESS"
& the creative challenge is "GRUNGE" !!!!

Just the perfect challenge for these pics of my grandson wearing his hoodie!!

I used this little quote,
"You are brave, fearless, bold & strong".
You see he is 23mths old & at this age he is totally
fearless, although I hope that changes as he grows up a little !!

I used Lindy's Stamp Gang  Luscious Lime", "Hag Wart Orange" & "Prima Donna Purple"
sprays. I just kept adding them & I also coloured up my three little flowers with them too.

I also coloured up some little 3D acrylic gel dots with the green & purple
sprays also, after first priming them with gesso.

All these wonderful chipboard pieces are from 2Crafty Chipboard.

Well I really got my GRUNGE on with this background!!!
I overdosed with stamping & generally had lots of fun with this.

That fabulous stitching stamp that I have used around
the edge of my page is from 49 and Market.

Well that is another layout done.
I do hope I have inspired you in some small way to play along with us this month.

As always we have EIGHT PRIZES on offer too.

Until next time.
