Sorry that everything has a blue tinge but the sun streams in the windows
& makes it look blue, if I close the blinds to stop this happening, it would be
too dark to film !!!

My little dog Tilly curled up underneath my chair.

Hope you take the time to watch the video so that you see it all properly.

Until next time.

My 2Crafty Chipboard January DT Reveal
Part Two
"Just Me-CANVAS"

Hi there 2Crafty fans, thanks for calling by.
Today I have a CANVAS to share with you & this is part two of my
January DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard.

I created this CANVAS as part of a class I taught recently
at a retreat in New Zealand, although I have changed a few things.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Just Me-title
Dandelions
Butterfly Frames

I stencilled a brick pattern on my background with a brick stencil &
texture paste and I applied a coat of gesso to all the chippie pieces.

The background was coloured up with "Corney Flower Blue" Shimmerz Inklings
& all the chippie pieces were given a coat of "I'm Not Limon" Shimmerz Inklingz.

I just love these chippie "Dandelions" hanging down from the flowers.

Here you can see I have tucked one of the "Butterfly Frames" in behind the photo.

That is pretty much it. This was such a super simple CANVAS but I
think it looks great. Just goes to show it doesn't have to be complicated
to be effective.

Until next time.

My 2Crafty Chipboard January DT Reveal
Part One
"Cherished Moments"

Hello there 2Crafty fans & welcome to the blog.
Today I have part one of my January DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard  to share with you.

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Cherished Moments-title
6" Circle Revolution Frames
Fine Leafy Bush

Both the background & all the chipboard were coloured up using

I have started off by sticking mesh to my background & then applying a coat of gesso
over it before adding some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays.

Next up I also gave all the chipboard pieces a coat of gesso.

For the "Title" & the "Circle Revolution Frame" I then simply brushed on
a couple of coats of Lindy's "Caribbean Blue" spray.

For the "Fine Leafy Bush" I brushed on a couple of coats of
Lindy's "Hottie Pattotie Pink" spray.

When all the chippie pieces were dry I then added a little bit of Stickles glitter glue
for a touch of added sparkle, plus this seems to intensify the colours too.

To finish off with I then added some "Shaved Ice Mica Flakes" to the background to create
the effect of the sun glistening on the water, although it is hard to see that in a photo.

Well thats all for today, I hope you like it.

PS....While you are here I would love you to become one of my FOLLOWERS
just by clicking the button & following the prompts over in the sidebar. :)

Until next time.

My 49 and Market January DT Reveal
Part Two
"Love"

Hi there lovelies. thanks for calling by. Today I have another layout to share with you which I created using a paper from the 49 and Market "Vintage Artistry" collection & it is called "Botanical Press". I really love the colours & the detail in all the Vintage Artistry papers. They are PERFECT to use as backgrounds & have just the right amount of detail.

I have also cut some bits out of the "Vintage Artistry - Ephemera Cut Out Sheet"
to add some layers behind my photo & that gorgeous butterfly too.

Today I thought I might use some of the 49 and Market natural "Burlap Trim.  It comes on a  1 metre roll & is 4" wide. I have just adhered it to the background with some gel medium, but you could also just use some nice strong adhesive to do the same thing.

I have also frayed it a bit too. You will see in one of the pics below, I pulled a few strands off & created a bow to add to my flower cluster as well.

You can also see in these pics those brownish coloured blobs, they are pieces of bronze mica flakes, & oh my goodness they look devine in real life but you cannot see their shine in a photo.

Here you can see I have also done some stamping using two sets of stamps, both from the 49 and Market range, called "Gabi's Postcards From Paris" & also the "Gabi's Grunge Texture Set".
 Perfect for background stamping.

All of the flowers I have used on this layout came from the 49 and Market "Basic Multi Flower Pack in Beige". These are a great pack because you get lots of different sorts & sizes in one pack & that is more than enough to get a great result & they are available in some really great colours too.

Vintage Artistry Botanical Press & Ephemera Cut Out Sheet

49 and Market Products Used.....
Basic Flower Pack-Beige, Burlap Roll 4"x1 metre,
Gabi's Postcards From Paris Stamps & Gabi's Grunge Texture Stamps.

 Well thats all for today.
Until next time.

My More Than Words January DT Reveal
"Celebrate"

Hi there lovelies, and a "Happy New Year" to you all.
Thanks for stopping by. To start the new year off I have my January
DT reveal for More Than Words.
Over at More Than Words blog we are celebrating our first birthday !!!
Yeah us!!  So this month we have made the challenge...

Challenge Words is CELEBRATE
Creative Challenge is BLING
Now I have not used the word CELEBRATE in the sense that you might
initially think, I have given the word a bit of a twist.

I wanted to scrap these pics of my grandson Henry with his
new dinosaur hat. Oh my goodness I think her looks so CUTE.

So here in my title you can see we are celebrating his new hat !!
I even added a little dinosaur in with the cluster here. :)

I have done some stencilling to create my background.
& then I used some Lindys Stamp Gang sprays,
"Jack in the Pulpit Teal" & "Carribean Blue".

Some 2Crafty Chipboard circles which I coloured up black & I have
added some black bling around my layout so I rocked the creative side of
the challenge too. I thought black bling wasn't too blingy !!!

So there is my take on the More Than Words January challenge.
I do hope you can find some time to play along with us too.

Until next time.
