My May Green Tara DT Reveal
Part Three
"Love Who You Are"

Hello everyone, thanks for calling by.
Today I have part three of my May DT reveal
Some of you may have seen this a few months ago
as I actually did it for a challenge over at CSI.
I was rather pleased as it got "featured" which is
always a thrill.

Naturally I have used lots of gorgeous Green Tara goodies,
including one of their fabric flowers. This lime one is called
"Sakura", as well as some of  their "Roses", "Flower Sprays",
"Mini Daisies", "Velvet Leaves" & I finished off
with some of their fabulous NEW "Burlap Trim".
I tied it in a big knot in this first picture.

Here you can see I have also included some in with my layers too.

All of my chipboard including this fab title, "Love", "2012"
as well as the "Gears" are all from

Hope you like this & thanks for stopping by.

Until next time.

My Green Tara May DT Reveal
Part Two
A Little Bit of Modern Vintage
"Memories"

Hello everyone & welcome back. So glad you stopped by.
Today I want to show you "part two" of my May
Green Tara DT reveal.
This time I have done what I would call,
"modern vintage". Although this pic is modern,
(it is a friends daughter who has started modelling),
I think the photographer has captured a vintage mood.
Hence my colour palette.

In the main cluster you can see I have used lots of beautiful
Green Tara fabric flowers in these rich & opulent colours.

Underlining my photo I have used one of the many beautiful
Green Tara trims, this one is called "Bud N Bow".
I use this a lot & it comes in so many great colours too.

Some Green Tara roses & as well you can see here I have also
used some great "wire mesh heart" embellishments which
are also from Green Tara.
Lastly I have popped in a few of their "velvet leaves" to
finish off with.

All of the gorgeous chipboard on this layout including my
title & the beautiful flourishes are from
2 Crafty Chipboard of course.

Until next time.

My May Green Tara DT Reveal
Part One
Some Girly Grunge
"Today"

Hi everyone, thanks for calling by.

This fabulous photo was given to me, along with a whole lot
more from my good friend Ann Nguyen whose hubby, Kent  is an
amazing photographer & he takes the BEST pics.
This photo shoot was done by Kent using this gorgeous model
who is dressed up rather sexy in all latex & boots.
I do so love this pic & I will definitely be using more of them
in the future, they are so arty.  Thanks so much Kent.

There is a little story behind this layout,  when
I had almost finished it, after about eight hours, doing all sorts
of different background treatments etc (I do take forever),
the last thing I did before finishing was to unscrew the lid off
a bottle of black Glimmermist to do a few little splashes, when I
accidently knocked the black mist over. It went all over my desk &
the right side of my page while I was trying to rescue my
new cream carpet on the floor. I did manage to stop the
mist before it ran off the
front of the desk onto my new carpet but I had to sacrifice
my page. Definitely "layout versus carpet",  but you know
what, I am really happy with the whole look of the spilt mist !!!

I have used some of the Green Tara 10cm wide  black "Tulle" which
I simply tore into pieces & tied in a big knot. This created the centre to
build my cluster around. Love this effect, although it is really hard to
 photograph being all black.

I've added Green Tara
"Primula", "Heirloom" & "Satin Pearl Rosette" flowers.

These fabulous chipboard "Giant Cogs" & title, "Today"
are from 2 Crafty chipboard.

Green Tara roses were misted to match.

Another of the many Green Tara trims called
"Lattice Trim" which I added a little metal buckle
 to complete the theme.

Stay tuned until tomorrow for Part Two of
my May Green Tara reveal.

My 2 Crafty Chipboard May DT Reveal
Part Three
"Just The 2 Of Us"

Hello there, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have the third part of my May reveal for
2 Crafty chipboard.

I have used lots of their fabulous chippies including this title,
"Just the 2 of Us", some stars from one of their
"Star Multi Packs", these are great. They have lots of different
sizes in the pack & some of them are cut out like the one I
have used at the top of my page.

I have also used one of their "Vertical Number Borders"
as well as some of their "Mini Filmstrips".

I have also popped in some  Green Tara flowers, I think
you all know I can't do a layout without at least a few flowers !!!

As well as some arrows from their "Assorted Arrows Pack"
& some chevrons from the "Assorted Chevron Pack".

Finished off with lots of paint, mist, stamps, washi tape & sewing.
Viola, all done.

Thanks again for taking the time to look & if you get a chance
be sure to pop over to the 2 Crafty blog.
The DT are just so inspiring & are always doing
something fabulous.
There is three NEW projects posted on their blog
every three days.

Until next time.

My 2 Crafty Chipboard May DT Reveal
Part Two
Also My "Once Upon A Sketch" May Challenge

Hello everyone, I have just popped back in to show you all the
second part of my 2 Crafty May DT reveal.

I have based my layout on the current May sketch & criteria
The other criteria was to also use a number on your layout.

This photo is very special to me. This is my youngest
son Kale when he was just four. He is now twenty seven &
he is getting married in June.
Where have all those years gone ????

The little quote on my page reads...
"Time is a companion that goes with us on the journey.
It reminds us to cherish each moment
because it will never come again.
What we leave behind is not as important
as how we have lived".

I have used some of the newest release chippie pieces
from 2 Crafty chipboard including these "Giant Cogs".
They are the perfect pieces to use on  a boy page.

I have also used some of their "Chevrons" as well as some
of their "Arrows". These all come in a multi pack with
lots of different sizes.

Here you can see I have also used one of their new word titles,
"Limited Edition". They have so many we really are
spoilt for choice.

Lastly I have finished off with some of the new "Lightglobes".
I looooove these.

Well that just about wraps it up. Lots of painting, stamping,
distressing & lots of yummy layers too.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
I hope I have given you a little inspiration to get
hold of some 2 Crafty chipboard to use on your next
layout too.

Remember to visit the 2 Crafty blog, click HERE,
their DT are always doing something inspirational.

Stay tuned until tomorrow for the third part
of my May reveal.

My 2 Crafty Chipboard May DT Reveal
Part One
Some of their NEW Release Pieces...

Hi there, thanks for stopping by.
Happy Mothers Day to all my blogland friends. I hope you have a
wonderful day & get totally spoilt.

Today I have part one of my May DT reveal to share with you.

I have use lots of NEW release 2 Crafty chippies here including
this title "Smile". I love this font.

The new "Ornate Screen". A real statement piece.
So fine & delicate.

One of their new corners, "Corner Evie"
a little background treatment & some corrugated for texture.

I have finished off with a cluster of flowers & some little chippie
"Flag Banners" that I simply covered with some paper towel
that was covered in green glimmermist from where I had just
finished using it to spray some Green Tara roses on.
It seemed such a waste to throw it away.

Thats all for today, I will be back tomorrow with
Part two of my May reveal.

Remember to visit 2 Crafty on FACEBOOK, it is
updated with something NEW everyday.

A Day With Finnabair
Part Two
"A Self Portrait"

Hello , thanks for calling by. Well as I promised last week,
today I have my second layout I did at the class I attended in
Sydney with that talented & famous
Ania Dabrowska AKA Finnabair.
(almost two months ago)!!!!!!

Obviously this is a self portrait, although I have to say that
I am not that fussed with the quality of my photo.
Never mind, it was all I had !!!!

I just adore Finn's style, a total sensory overload.
So many beautiful textures.

Such richness too.

Well thats it. Better late than never.
I hope you like it too. I have to say I was
very happy with the outcome of the two projects
that I did with her.

If you ever get an opportunity  to do one of
her classes, go for it. I really loved it.

Until next time.

My White With One May DT Reveal
"Today"

Hello everyone, thanks for calling by.
Today I have my May DT reveal for White With One.
This is my last month on the WW1 creative team,
my year is up & it is time to move on.
I have to say it has been a great journey that I have thoroughly
enjoyed, so thanks Mel for having me.

This months challenge is
White  +  Black  + Banners or Badges.

I have used some 2 Crafty chippie banners which I covered in
white cardstock which I had first stamped with some great
Tim Holtz stamps. Too easy.

All of my chippie pieces including the "Today" title, mini gears
& chevrons are all from 2 Crafty Chipboard.
They have so many great boy things, it makes
doing boy layouts so easy.

Lots of background treatment, loads of stamping,
lots of my signature distressing, washi tape, lots of layers
& some gorgeous Tim Holtz metal bits.
I REALLY enjoyed doing this layout.

Included in my layers here you can see I have used some
of the fabulous NEW Green Tara "burlap trim". I
love this stuff, fabulous texture & it comes in a
couple of great natural colours as well as this black
one I have used here.

Well that just about wraps another challenge up.
I hope perhaps you can find some time to join
in the fun at WW1 this month too.

Until next time.

A Day With Finnabair

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend a class with the famous
Ania Dabowskra  AKA Finnabair in Sydney some weeks back.
I had the best time, learnt lots & had loads of fun too.  I was sitting
with both Kim Price & Nadia Cannizzo & we had so much fun.
Lovely ladies & great company.
(See pics below)
We did two projects, the first one I am sharing with you
today is this  little canvas.
I did mine a little different to the class as my photos didn't suit
what the others were doing so I put my own spin on it.

These pics are of yours truly were taken over a ten year period.

I was really happy with the outcome.
I hope you like it too.

Here is  a selfie that Nadia took of the three of us.

And another.

Here is the three of us hard at work.
I'll post the other project later in the week.
Until next time.
