Cards for My September Card Classes

Hi their lovelies, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have some cards that I have made for the monthly card classes
that I teach at my LSS.
These are also available as a kit too.
This month I have chosen a theme of hand made sunflowers
using this amazing stamp & die set from  Heartfelt Creations.
We are also going to do some handmade autumn leaves & colouring
these up using distress inks to achieve just the right colours.

My favourite would have to be the circle card, & yes it does open.

We are also doing a little mixed media on the one that has the brick wall.

Well thats all for today.
See you back here soon.

"Forever & Always"

Hi there lovelies, thank for stopping by. Today I have part two of my
August DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard
using lots of their gorgeous chippie pieces, listed below.
I started my layout off with a mixed media background using some Lindys sprays.

I have based my layout on the current challenge over at
Lindy's Stamp Gang blog.
This is their August challenge board.

Forever & Always - title
Flower Doiley Set
Soft Feather Set
Lacey Border Set #1

All of the chipboard pieces I have used on this layout were firstly
coated in gesso followed by some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays & then
brushed over with a little water to create a soft watercolour effect.

For my title, I actually cut off the word "family" from the title,
"Family Forever & Always" - title & just used the forever & always part.
I saved the word family & I will use that on another project.

I adore these feathers from the "Soft Feather Set".
I added some gold micro beads to them for some added texture.

The paper I have used as well as the big aqua flower & the stamped leaves are
 all from 49 and Market.
For the leaves I stamped them with a stamp set from 49 and Market.
This big flower was also sprayed with Lindy's sprays too.

A border from the "Lacey Borders Set #1".

Don't you just love these NEW "Flower Doilies" that I have used behind
my photos?  Definitely one of my new fave pieces.

Well thats all from me today. If you liked my layout, I would
love it if you would leave me a comment. :)
Until next time.

Baby Boy Card for Henry

Just a quick post today. I remembered I hadn't shared
this little card I made for my Grandson Henry for his birth
back in September 2015 !!!!!

I totally forgot to share it.

It is a little "Card in a Box" card & I simply die cut the little bear.
He is so cute. The three flaps say B. O. Y.
Sorry it is a bit hard to read that.

They named him Henry, & so I thought I would include that
on these little banners that pop out of the card.
The letters are stuck on to little acetate strips.

Believe it or not this card actually folds up flat !!!
I kid you not.

Well thats all for now.
I hope you like Henry's card.
Until next time.

My August DT Reveal for
49 and Market
"Dream - Always"

Hi there lovelies. Thanks for stopping by. Today I have my August DT reveal for
I have a layout featuring yours truly, to share with you, that I created using this
gorgeous "Specimen" paper from the 49 and Market "Vintage Artistry" collection.
I have done a small amount of mixed media on it but I wanted to let it stand alone
because it has some lovely soft & subtle details that were just too good to cover up.

I have also cut up some pieces of the Vintage Artistry "Flora & Fauna Cut Out"
paper and used these in my layers.

Scroll Down To View Full Product List......
ALL AVAILABLE FROM
The Scrapbook Diaries.

These stunning butterflies were also cut out of the "Fauna & Flora Cut Out" paper too.
I have used lots of various flowers from the 49 and Market flower collections,
all are listed below. They all compliment each other perfectly & have such a rustic feel.

I think the highlight of my layout would have to be these beautiful fern fronds, which
were also  cut out of the "Flora & Fauna Cut Out" paper too. They really are
quite spectacular & well worth the effort of cutting them out.
I have stamped along the top & bottom edges with the 49 and Market
"Gabbi's Line Stitch Stamp Set". It looks so realistic, just like real
stitching, with such great detail too.

Now all these amazing small green leaves were stamped with a leaf stamp from the
"Gabbi's Texture Stamp Set" & then cut out. I think they are the perfect
partnering with all the flowers & they have really nice detail too.
You will see me using this leaf stamp often, now that I have
discovered this stamp set. I love them.  :) :)

I have also used some of their "Burlap Ribbon in Natural". I pulled several 1 meter
strands off  the roll & then just laid  all the loops of it, underneath my photos & flowers,
for added texture. I think this works really well. I also tied a large bow using three more
strands of the burlap to tie a large bow, which I have placed  amongst the flowers to create
 some more fabulous texture.

More beautiful flowers from some of the various 49 and Market Rustic collections.
The chipboard I have used is from 2Crafty Chipboard & is available from The Scrapbook Diaries.

My More Than Words - August DT Reveal
"Friends"

Hi there friends, thanks for calling by.
Today I have my DT reveal for the August challenge over at

Here is their August challenge.
The word "FRIENDS" & to use "CIRCLES".
Remember you have to use both parts of the challenge to be
eligible to win any of the EIGHT PRIZES.

I scrapped this pic taken on my birthday, three years ago, of my hubby
& myself. I thought, he is my best friend after all.

All of my chipboard is from 2Crafty Chipboard of course.

I have also used lots of Prima flowers I stamped all these leaves
using a new stamp set designed by Gabrielle Pollocco from 49 and Market
I love these leaves mixed in with my flowers.
This stamp set is available from The Scrapbook Diaries.

I have really embraced the whole circle theme.
I have gone with circle chipboards, cut my photo into a circle,
circle stamping, circle stencilling, circle doileys & clocks
& even finished of with some pearls, which are naturally circles too.

Lots of mixed media for my background with lots of stamping too.

Well that just about does it for today. I hope you can
find time to play along with us this month.

Until next time.
