Bird is the Word & CSI #1 Challenge "Remember"

Hello everyone.  I would like to show you my layout I have  finished for  Bird is the Word  & Challenge #1 over at  CSI  which is a NEW challenge  blog. This is the first time I have played along at BITW & I thought it looked like a fun challenge. This is also the very first challenge for CSI which is a  great new challenge blog with a fabulously  innovative criteria. BITW criteria is to use the word "Remember" in your title.  CSI colour criteria were  two shades of green, yellow, terracotta & grey, plus a few other elements.

 

Now let me introduce you to this beautiful lady. Her name is Olive  Colless. She was my Great Grandmothers sister & I am so lucky to have this gorgeous photo of her. I am very fortunate to have many many old photos like these that my own Grandmother passed on to me. I am the family keeper of all things special. Basically I have always been a sentimental fool I suppose!! I met her a few times when I was very very young child & I remember she was a jovial great big old chubby lady. Hard to imagine that when you look at her in this photo.

 I have been wanting to scrap some more of these old photos  &  these two  challenges  gave me the push  I needed.  I have to say I really enjoyed playing along with  both of these  challenges &  I will definately be playing along on both  again.
