"You Love Loud Music"Recently Published & Oooops I forgot to Share It !!!

This layout of one of my sons that I did for 

"Scrapbooking Memories" magazine,

was publish a few months back, & guess who 

forgot to put it on her blog!!!

Silly me. Life gets so hectic sometimes & my brain 

goes into neutral.

The theme was "boys" & these pics of my eldest son taken

 a few years ago now were perfect for the criteria.

 He used to have guitar lessons & he was Metallica mad, 

still is actuially.

He would get in his room & turn his amp up to the max & 

terrorise us, the animals & the neighbours too.

My Shop Was Named a "State Specialist" for NSW

 Woo Hoo how exciting!!!! My little shop, Di's Scrapbooks 

at The Entrance, in NSW. Australia

 was named as one of the two "State Specialist" for NSW 

in the latest edition of

Scrapbooking Memories magazine. (page 91) 

 

I always say, don't let the size fool you, we may only be small but

we always have the most up to date fabulous stock & we really

do know this scrapbooking industry, very well. 

 

We are coming up to our 7th birthday soon

so I think we must be doing something right!!

 

Just had to share this with all our blog land friends.

My January DT Reveal for2 Crafty Chipboard

Don't Follow Your Dreams Chase Them

Hello 2 Crafty fans. Thanks for stopping by. Today I wanted to

show you just a few of the many fabulous TITLES that 2 Crafty

make. They have so many to choose from & they are always 

coming up with new ones. I so love this title,

"Don't Follow Yours Dreams Chase Them"

This is just so appropriate for this page.

I have also used some of their NEW "Groovy Flowers".

These are the sweet little chippie flowers that I have tucked in 

here & there in amongst my flower clusters.

Another NEW release piece I have used here is this sweet little

 Hanging Plaque which is from the "Garden Bench Set".

The other chippie piece I have used on this page are these

"Frame Scallop Circle Borders".

Sweet Child Of Mine

On this layout I have used yet another fabulous 2 Crafty chippie title,

"Sweet Child of Mine"

I thought this was the perfect  title for my layout.

Next I have used a "Grandma's Bike".

Some beautiful Green Tara flowers to finish off with.

In this pic you can see I have used their "French Lace Border".

  Lastly I have used some of the 2 Crafty "1.5" Hexagons" too.

A Laugh is a Smile That Burst

On this last layout I have used yet another great 2 Crafty title,

"A Laugh is a Smile That Bursts"

How perfect is this title?

For this layout I used a sketch by the talented Em Stafrace

over at "Page Drafts"

so many great sketches to choose from over there, 

make sure you check them out.

In these close ups you can see the 2 Crafty "Gears".

In this last shot you can see I have also  used some of their

  "Chicken Wire Panel"  too.

We are inviting applications from crafters
who are interested in joining the

2Crafty Chipboard Design Team.

If you love using chipboard in your scrapbooking and papercafting,

 then we would love to hear from you.

The term will be for 6 months, beginning in May 2013 and finishing at the end of October 2013.

Successful applicants  will commit to 2 new layouts/projects every 4 per weeks, including tips and techniques as part of your post.  As well you will need to have, and update, an active personal blog and facebook page.

In return for your commitment to the 2Crafty DT, you will receive a GENEROUS amount of 2Crafty chipboard to play with and use.

So if you think you are up for the challenge and would like to be part of our team, we would love to hear from you.

My White With One DT Layout"Remember"

Hello friends. I just realised I hadn't posted by DT layout

 for the current challenge for White With 1.

This months challenge is

White + Red + Aqua + Summer photo. 

So after some thought I decided to do this pic of

yours truely.

Did a little background work with some mediums & mists.

I also used some Green Tara flowers & turquoise trim.

This fabulous Peacock Feather is a fairly new release from

2 Crafty chipboard. I really like the size of it, not too big.

This sweet little frame & the mini word are also from 

2 Crafty chipboard too.

Well that just about covers it.

My TOP 12 Layouts for 2012

 Hello everyone. Today I thought I would do a "Top 12" list

 of my favourite layouts I did in 2012.

Actually I couldn't decide on twelve so I have made a 

bakers dozen (13).

I haven't done this before & while blog hopping last night

I saw that lots of people do it & I thought

it was a great idea.  Some are DT work, some are

 challenges & some are just because.

So here they are in no particular order.....

My Green Tara DT. Reveal

"A Perfect Moment"

It was my turn  up on the Green Tara blog the other day & I am so
far behind with my posting here!!!
 Still playing catch up after Christmas holidays.
 These are my three layouts that were featured over there.

They are all laden

with lots of beautiful Green Tara flowers,

as well as lots of beautiful 2 Crafty chipboard.

This first layout is called "A Perfect Moment" & features

 lots of their newest fabric flowers.

I have also done lots of textures & misting on the background.

I have  used some of their many trims.

Green Tara have so many beautiful trims to choose from.

More of their NEW fabric flowers & various sized roses & I have 

finished off with some copper coloured "Wire Hearts"

which are also from Green Tara.

"Captured Memories"

Some of you have probably seen this one before but it is

 so full of so many beautiful Green Tara flowers 

that I thought I would include it in this months post too.

Lots more beautiful 2 Crafty chipboard used here too.

"Poppy Girl"

Lastly this one I know a lot of you have already seen too but I have

 included it in my Green Tara DT post this month.

Firstly because it is very dear to my heart because my dear 

sweet little "Poppy" sadly passed away a couple of weeks

 ago but secondly it has so many beautiful Green Tara

 blooms on it I just wanted to share it one last time.
