"Strawberry Milkshake".

So soft & pretty & just perfect to match my photos.

So after a little subtle mixed media background on my canvas, a little

fussy cutting, some layering & adding touches with some velvet ribbon

& a vintage doilley, hey presto, my canvas just all  came together.

A Mixed Media LIGHTGLOBEFor Prima Marketing Inc.

Hi there paper friends, thanks for stopping by.

Today I have a little mixed media "reverse canvas" to share with you & it

features a large chipboard "Light Globe" that my good friends over at

2Crafty Chipboard custom made for me.

Over on the Prima blog today some of the design team girls were set
the challenge of creating a project inspired by LIGHT GLOBES !!
This is my take on the challenge.

For my mixed media background I have stenciled, troweled on some gorgeous

Prima "Crackle Paste", did some watercolours on my background & then
set to work on the actual Light Globe.

For the Light Globe I coloured it with Prima Wax Paste followed by

a generous coat of the "Jewell Effects Paste". Oh my goodness this paste

is amazing in real life, soooo sparkly as well as adding texture.

I have added lots of flowers & a vine from various different Prima collections,

a sweet little butterfly, some fibers, some fussy cut elements from the
"Watercolor Floral" collection, some Art Stones & pearls & then
finished off with a couple of chipboard stickers & some bling.

Viola all done. I hope you like it & maybe even draw
 some inspiration from it.

Mixed Media ClockfaceSome Roman Numerals Inspiration ForPrima Marketing Inc.

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.

Today I have a ROMAN NUMERALS inspired, mixed media project 

to show you for Prima Marketing Inc.

Prima asked some of us design team girls to create a
project using ROMAN NUMERALS.

So this is what I came up with…

I have used a 2Crafty Chipboard 12” skeleton clock face as my background as it

has ROMAN NUMERALS on it for the numbers.

I also used a Prima Marketing mould to create some little ROMAN NUMERALS

which I have placed on top of some of the flowers on the right side of my photo.

I set about doing all sorts of mixed media to both the clock background
 as well as the clockface frame too. 

Firstly I used loads of various Prima mediums,

then I did lots of layering, added lots of flowers, some older & some newer,

 some chipboard leaves, some fussy cut elements, some die cuts

 and then I added my photo on top.

 I have also used this little wood window shutters from Prima too.
