Some Mixed Media Vintage InspirationWith AB.studio Papers & Cut OutsandPrima Marketing Flowers, Moulds & Mediums

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by.

Today I have a vintage inspired mixed media layout & featuring these very old

photos of my dear departed Mother in Law, to show you.

This photo is over one hundred years old, hence the quality.

 I created this one for A.B.studio using their gorgeous papers, cut outs,

gold foil leaves & butterflies as well I used one of their lovely stencils too.

Finnabair Icing Paste in Vintage Gold

Finnabair Wax Paste in "Aged Brass'

Finnibair Wax Paste in "Lucky Emerald" green

I created all the little fern leaves, birds & the old spoon using moulds & liquid resin

& then coloured them all up with wax paste to match my layout. 

I had so much fun doing this.

I have used the Finnabair wax pastes to colours not only the resin pieces 

but also to colour a bunch of die cuts too. Really happy with the 

result of combining the two coloured waxes on my pieces.

I have used the "Aged Brass" wax paste to add some colour to these beautiful

"Gold Foil Vellum Leaves" from AB. Studio too. I love these & you get lots & 

lots of them on the one sheet, plus they are a really easy shape to cut out too.

I have also used this little quote that I had cut out from the AB.Studio

 "Unexpected Sheet #8" paper. I thought it was the perfect quote for my photos.

A 2Crafty Chipboard fine "Word Title", some Prima Bling Crystals,

a bow tied in string & some Prills scattered around my layout

& all teamed with lots of cut out pieces from AB.Studio

as well as some background stencilling too.

This layout was such a pleasure to create & although a lot of work,

it just came together sooo easily. I wished that happened all the time.

Always easy when you are working with such beautiful products.💖

A Mixed Media Canvas"Love LOVE Love"

Today I have a little mixed media canvas to show you that I created for

2Crafty Chipboard & Prima Marketing Inc.

I started off by glueing, off centre, this 10" decorator grid chipboard panel onto a canvas.

Next up I proceeded with lots of awesome Prima Marketing
 mediums, watercolours, flowers, waxes, papers & more.

Prima Marketing Inc. Products Used...

I treated this fabulous chippie title, "Love LOVE Love"
the same way as I did on the grid decorator panel with

the exclusion of the crackle paste.

I just love the effect of the crackle paste on the chipboard.

& don't you just love that little brass metal "fob watch & bee" that is

tucked in under the edge of the flowers.

I wanted to achieve a nice earthy theme to this layout that feautures my
 Goddaughters children that they had done in a professional photo shoot.

I printed the photo out in black & white so it would match this theme nicely.
Perfect for a family photo shoot photo.

& some sweet little flowers & leaves too, which being small, wont overpower
 the layout & so is suitable for both boys & girls photos.

"Loving These Moments With You"A Shabby Chic Mixed Media Creation

Hi there lovelies, thanks for calling by.

Today I have another little mixed media layout to show you. I created this one using lots 

of my favourite 2Crafty Chipboard & also lots of wonderful Prima Marketing goodies too.

 

2Crafty Chipboard Used

I used papers from Prima's "Pretty Mosiac" collection as well as a selection of their

flowers including some of the gorgeous "Sugar Cookie Christmas" flowers which I

teamed with one of their older vines.

I used Prima Watercolour Confections "Tropicals" to colour all the chippies.

I created lots of textures & layers by popping the chippies under & over the other elements.

I adore these chippie dandelions peeking out from underneath my photo.

Some extra texture using some Prima "Say It In Crystals", muslin, mesh & more.
