  Hi there bloggers. Thanks for calling by. Today I wanted to share my canvas that was published in "Scrapbooking Memories" magazine  last month. Some of you may have already seen this from when I made  it earlier this year.  

  All these pics are of me over a fifteen year period, although the layout  hasn't photographed that well as today is so overcast & rainy.   Never mind !!!!   Hope you like it.   Until next time.

My 2 Crafty ChipboardOctober Design Team RevealPart Two"Memories"

Hi there, thanks for calling by. Today I have part two of my

October DT reveal for 2 Crafty Chipboard.

Lots of background treatments, some fussy cutting &

lots of gorgeous 2 Crafty chipboard.

Here you can see I have used a "Marisa's Corner" to frame my photo.

Next I have used a "Sybills Nameplate" & I have put one of

their mini words, "Memories" on it  for my title.

Lastly I have used a "Tahnya's 6" Border" underneath my photo.

2 Crafty make sooooo many beautiful chipboard designs, we really

are spoilt for choice.

Woo Hoo I made the Watch List at CSICSI Case File #92"Magical Memories"

Wooo Hooo thanks CSI for putting my layout on the "Watch List".

Hi there, thanks for calling by. Today I have my layout for the current challenge
#92 over at CSI. Just got this finished in the nick of time. Made the deadline
by just hours !!!!! Anyway, I do love this soft & pretty colour pallette.
I thought this photo of my God Daughters little girl, Siena, was perfect.
I have scrapped it before but I wasn't completely happy with it so I
thought I would try my hand at it again!!!!!

For my "Evidence" I have used five things,

1.Pearls,  2.Book pages(my background paper),  

3. Hearts,  4.ribbon,  5. Lace.

For my "Testimony" I have written this little story about how they

were having a photo shoot & she had had enough. 

The tears were flowing, as you can see by her red eyes

 in the pic, but thankfully the photographer kept right on

clicking his camera & this "magic memory" was snapped.

I think this is a priceless moment of childhood, captured.

I have placed my little story  in between my layers, 

tucked in behind the photo.

I have used lots of fabulous 2 Crafty chipboard & lots

 of gorgeous Green Tara flowers, lace & trims.

My 2 Crafty ChipboardOctober Design Team RevealPart One"Cherish the Moments"

Hi there thanks for calling by.

Today I have part one of my October DT  reveal for 2 Crafty chipboard.

Naturally it has lots of their gorgeous

chipboard on it, including ....

"Cherish the Moments" Title

"Chicken Wire Panel"

"Fifi's Flourish"

"Multi pack of Butterflies"

 

I just adore this "Fifi's Flourish".

Here you can see I have cut the "Cherish" word apart from the

rest of the title as I wanted to stick it onto my photo.

I created this background using lots of stamping, Gelatos & just

 plain white cardstock. I just love what you can do with them.

Lots of great Green Tara washi tapes here too.

Some fab 2 Crafty "chicken wire" which I have cut up &

poked in here & there.

   Finished off with a few of their "Butterflies" which come in a  multi pack of all different sizes. Well thats all for today, I'll be back again with part two. I do hope you will call again. Until then.  

My September Green Tara Design Team RevealPart Two"Beautiful Girl"

Hello there, thanks for calling by.

Today I have part two of my current design team reveal

for Green Tara.

I have been playing with my Dylusion sprays again. I just love

the way they are sooooo bright & that is what set the scene

for this layout.

   I have used two of the NEW Green Tara

"Washi Tapes" on both the top & bottom of my page.

I have also sewn on some Green Tara
 "Double Sided Reversible Spot Ribbon" in pink/orange.
I love this ribbon & it is available in some great colour combos too.

 While I had my Dylusion sprays out creating my background I

decided to spray some of my Green Tara flowers to match.

I was really happy how these turned out.

So bold & bright.

More Green Tara flowers & Roses that I have sprayed.

All of the fabulous chipboard pieces I have used on this 

layout are from 2 Crafty chipboard.

Lastly you can see the other Green Tara Washi Tape that I

have used. They really do have a huge range of 

Washi to choose from.

My First "Scrap Around The World" Design Team Reveal "Love"

Hi there friends. I am so excited to announce that I was invited to join the

design team of the fabulous challenge blog at

"Scrap Around the World"

 They are an amazing monthly challenge that feature both a

mood board & sketch & you can interpret it as you wish.

They also have loads of great prizes too, so make sure you

hop across & check it out.

Here is the current sketch & mood board.

You can draw inspiration from anything at all on the board,

It might be one thing or it might be several things. 

You don't have to stick to the colours just be inspired by something

on it & the sketch is optional too.

I have chosen my colours from the mood board & naturally

 I have used lots of my favourite 2 Crafty chipboard

including this fab title "Love".

 

I have followed the sketch.

I always love a good sketch.

Love these colours from the mood board.

Lots of background treatments here. I have been practicing

again with my new Gelatos. Rather pleased with the result.

My September Green Tara Design Team RevealPart One"Sweet Girl"

Hi there, thanks for calling by.

Today I have part one of my September Green Tara design team reveal

to show you.

 

On this layout I have used some of their 6cm petals in daffodil yellow as

the main feature in my cluster. I actually created this flower

by layering two 6cm petals in daffodil yellow on top of

 each other & next I harvested this great "middle" out of yet another

 Green Tara flower, & that was an "Aster-Batik".

So by combining the two together a new flower evolved.

In this pic you can see  I have also added some lovely bright 

orange "Chrysanthemums" as well, & I have sprayed one of the

 NEW "Azelea" flowers with some aqua Dylusions spray to 

make it just the right colour I was after. 

It is so easy to colour these flowers.

I have also added a bow made from their gorgeous

"Spotted Organza Ribbon" in aqua as well as a

 couple of their "Skeleton Leaves" too.

I finished off with some of their yellow & orange 

"Roses" & some gold "mini flowers".

I have also added a strip of one of the NEW Green Tara 

"Washi Tapes" to the bottom corner of my layout.

All of these great chipboard pieces are from

2 Crafty Chipboard.
