My "Scrap Around the World"December DT Reveal"Timeless Beauty"

  Hi there scrappy friends. Can you believe it is December!!! Where has this year gone? Well being the 1st of the month means another fabulous moodboard over at Scrap Around the World.   As always they have lots & lots of amazing prizes on offer too.   Now I didn't have any snow themed pics that would have been suitable so I have taken my inspiration from the heart, the colours, the chevron pattern & the sparkly lights.

I have used lots of my favourite chipboard from 2Crafty Chipboard  including

French Lace Border

I love the whole softness of these colours & I have kept it monochromatic.

I do love this gorgeous Squiggly Heart Border from 2Crafty Chipboard.

I was inspired by the heart picture in the moodboard to use this,

Lots of background treatments. Lots of pretty flowers.

Lots of yummy textures & stamping.

Lots of sparkle & glitter inspired by the sparkly lights in the moodboard.

You can just catch a glimpse of the chevron washi tape I used here

which was also inspired by the moodboard.

 

   

You only need to be inspired by ONE image but can be inspired by

 more than one or even ALL the images - it really is UP TO YOU!!

We are NOT A COLOUR CHALLENGE SITE so there is no need

to follow our colours, although of course if they are your source of

inspiration you are welcome to use them all, or just some of them,

otherwise none at all!  You have complete artistic freedom BUT

we do need to be able to SEE HOW YOU WERE INSPIRED!

Hi friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have another

Chrissy layout & naturally I have used lots & lots of gorgeous

2Crafty Chipboard.

I adore this pic of my Grandaughter Mia in her Santa hat. 

I took this photo last Sunday & I had it scrapped on Monday!!!

 I cut the word cuties down & made it just cutie.

All the chippie pieces were firstly given a coat of gesso. Next up both the 

 title & the 2014 date were coloured up with Barn Door Distress Ink & when dry

 I added some Stickles for a sparkly finish. Shame the sparkle doesn't show up here.

This is the new "Christmas Ornament Decorative Border".

After firstly giving it a coat of gesso I  then coloured it using my Gelatos &

blended the colour with a little water & my finger. When dry I dabbed on

some pale pink Stickles which unfortunately doesn't show in the photos!!!

 The 2014 date was treated the same as the title.

All the stars where finished exactly the same as the border.

My 2Crafty Chipboard November DT RevealPart One"Christmas Baby"plus a VIDEO TUTORIAL

  Hi friends, thanks for calling by.  Today I have a Christmas layout  with a start to finish video for my favourite chipboard company, 2Crafty Chipboard..  I hope you will take the time to watch it, & maybe even subscribe to my you tube channel while you are there so you don't miss anything.     Click here to view VIDEO.......

   

Naturally I have used lots of gorgeous 2Crafty chippies, starting off with one of their

new titles, "Christmas Baby". So appropriate don't you think?

 All of the chippie pieces except the word, were simply heat embossed using

gold embossing powder as you would have seen in the video. Just so easy

yet so effective & it gives the layout a real richness.

 

I just love this new "Festive Branch".

 The "Yvette's Frame" was just the perfect piece to frame my photo.

 

This new "Christmas Baby" title was firstly coated with gesso, followed by

a coat of  "Silks paint in the colour Carmen", then finished off with a wipe of

Viva Inka Gold Paste.

 

And lastly a few chippie stars for good measure.

Another DT Reveal for "The Scrapbook Store""Adore You"

  Hi there paper friends, thanks for calling by. Today I have another layout I created for my November DT reveal for "The Scrapbook Store". This was made with their "Montage" paper range, 2Crafty Chipboard & both Green Tara & Petaloo flowers.   Scroll down for a full product list.  

  Lots of fussy cutting here. This paper range just sooo lends itself to be cut out. Another great chipboard title from 2Crafty Chipboard which are all available at The Scrapbook Store.

  Lots of pretty Petaloo flowers in amongst the layers.

  Some pretty Green Tara flowers & roses.

  A gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard  flourish which I cut up & poked in here & there.

November DT Reveal for"The Scrapbook Store""A Moment to Treasure"

Hi there paper friends. I am back again to share another layout I created with the "Montage" collection of papers as part of my November DT reveal for "The Scrapbook Store".  

Such a pretty paper collection & I had the perfect photo.
This is a pic of my two sons, hubby & myself,  taken last year when my youngest
son got married.

 
As well as these beautiful "Montage" papers, I have used some awesome
2Crafty Chipboard too, including this
 LeafyShrub Set #2 & my title.

 I have also used some Petaloo flowers & some Green Tara flowers & roses.

November DT Reveal for "The Scrapbook Store""Magic Happens"

Hi there friends, thanks for calling by. Today I have part two of my November DT reveal for  "The Scrapbook Store".  

  For this layout I have used some Blue Fern papers from the "Montage" collection.

  A little fussy cutting was in order.

  Some pretty Green Tara  roses & leaves also from The Scrapbook Store.  

  A little mixed media on the background for some added punch.

  In the pics both above & below you can see I have used a fab 2Crafty Chipboard  title-Magic Happens, as well as one of their many amazing flourishes. Just the perfect thing to give this layout some punch. The Scrapbook Store stocks  loads of awesome 2Crafty products.
