So happy to be returning to the 2Crafty Design Team

again in 2017 as both one of their designers as well as team co ordinator.

I have been with this team for four & a half years &

love to create with their wonderful products.

A big welcome to all our new members & so glad that a lot

My 49 and Market - November DT Reveal"This Is Me"

 Hi there lovelies, thanks for calling by. Today I have my November DT reveal for

49 and Market. I have created my layout using two "B SIDES" of some 

Vintage Artistry Cut Out Sheets. That is the "Flora & Fauna" cut out 

sheet & the "Ephemera Cut Out" sheet. These "B" sides are such lovely pastel

 whites & pale shades of grey. Totally gorgeous papers.

 I have also done some background stamping using the "Gabbi's -Postcards From Paris" 

stamp set & using Distress Inks "Pumice Stone" coloured ink.

 How BEAUTIFUL are all these new flowers from 49 and Market? I have used both 

"Garden Blooms" in Alabaster as well as "Multi Pack Flowers" in Blue, which also have

  six leaves included, as well as thirteen various shape & size flowers.

I have done some mixed media on the background, added some stamping a well as some Prills.

 All of the chipboard I have used is from 2Crafty Chipboard.

My More Than Words ChallengeNovember DT Reveal"Love"

Hi there lovelies. Thanks for stopping by.

Today is the 1st of the month which means it is "reveal time" over at

More Than Words Challenge.

I have created this layout featuring my beautiful grandaughter Mia. I did a 

photo shoot with her a few weeks ago so I have got some great new pics to scrap.

This months challenge word is SPECIAL & our creative challenge is this quote above.

 Now you can just use something OLD if you like,

OR

Just use something NEW,

OR

Use the lot ie.

"something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue"

and it DOESN'T have to be a wedding themed layout!!

My layout features my gorgeous grandaughter who is super "special" 

to me & I have added a little quote saying so. 

 

For the CREATIVE challenge I have used .......

#1. something old-old Prima flowers (sprayed to match),

 #2. something new-new pic just taken, 

#3.something borrowed - lavender Magicals borrowed from a friend

#4.  something blue-my background.

 I really really enjoyed creating this layout. You know, when it just

comes together real easy. I wish they would all do that !

 I used Lindys Stamp Gang sprays & Magicals to create my background.

I have used my favourite 49 and Market leaf stamp as well

as this mesh stamp, also from 49 and Market & teaming them

 with the Lindys Magicals to add shimmer & shine.

 

 This photo was only taken a few weeks ago & note the "fairy wings".

She looked beautiful in pink & aqua with lots of sparkles.

I wanted my layout to be super pretty & feminine.

 I coloured the chippies & flowers, all with the Lindys Magicals

to match them all with the correct colours.

I am really pleased how this turned out.

All the chipboard I have used is from 2Crafty Chipboard.

Creating Some Cards With Altenew Stamps

Hi there lovelies. Thanks for stopping by. 

Today I have some cards I created for an upcoming card class

I am teaching using some lovely "Altenew Stamps" & watercolours.

I absolutely adore these stamps. I have teamed them with some watercolours,

a little fussy cutting & some black leaves & flourishes that I have die cut.

I think combining all three elements adds a little pizzaz!!

My October MINI Challenge DT Reveal ForMore Than Words

Today I have my DT reveal for the October MINI challenge over at

My 2Crafty Chipboard October DT RevealPart Two"This Is You"

Hi there lovelies, thanks for calling by.

Today I have part two of my October DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard

& it features my cute little grandson Henry.

The title & the tiny stars were both just coloured with some red acrylic paint.

I have cut up the "6" Bubble Grid Panel" & placed pieces behind & around my photo.

The "Bubble Grid Panel", the "Mini Cameras" the "Cogs"

were all just coloured black with a stamp pad. Just too easy.

Lots of background stamping & a couple of flair buttons from Flutterby Designs.

I do love those little "Mini Cameras".

My October DT Reveal Part One For2Crafty Chipboard"Beautiful Little Girl"

Hi there lovelies, thanks for stopping by.

Today I have part one of my October DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard

and featuring my gorgeous grandaughter Mia.

These are the 2Crafty chippie pieces I have used.

Addy's Butterflies

All of the chippies I have used were firstly coated with gesso &

followed by some Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays "Hottie Patottie" & "Azure Sea Asters"

brushed on, followed by a little water to create an uneven watercolour effect.

I love this "Geo Triangle Panel". It is a 6" panel but I have cut it up & placed

 it randomly underneath my photo. I repeated the pattern in the stamping too.

A couple of 2Crafty "Addy's Butterflies" added around the layout.

I always bend them in the middle to add a little dimension. 

This is one of their new borders called "Geo Triangle Border". It is a perfect

match to the panel. They work so well together.

I always cut my chippie pieces up to suit my layout so I teamed all the little

left over bits to create a cluster in the bottom left corner of the page.
