My Green Tara DT Post
Two Extremes
Vintage & Modern

Hello everyone. Thanks for calling by the blog.
Today I have three layouts to show you for my monthly DT
 reveal for Green Tara.
Firstly I have this vintage layout to share, called
"Those were the Days".

For the top flower cluster I have used one of the new
Satin Rosettes in a beautiful sage colour & it has a pearl centre.
I have teamed it with one of their small Ivory roses.

For my bottom cluster I have used another one of their NEW flowers,
this one is called a  Primula. It is a black/grey with a hint of green.
Just a perfect vintage colour.

I have used four different beautiful Green Tara trims here,
all in Ivory. I have actually woven them in the corner but when
I put my flower cluster on I covered the weaving up!!!
That wasn't very bright was it?

All of these beautiful chipboard pieces I have used are from
2 Crafty chipboard of course.

For my next layout I have stepped waaaay way outside of my
comfort zone & done a modern/minimilist layout called

"The Magic of You"

Now for those of you that are  familiar with my work,
you will know what I mean, I never do minimilist so I
have stepped up to the plate on this one.
Firstly I have used that new Green Tara Wired Cord that I used
a couple of months ago, that I made the wreath with. I have just
twisted & curled it around an awl until I was happy with the shape.
It kind of reminds me of 3D doodling!!!
I'm really happy with how this cord turned out,
just something a little different.
I have also added one of the Green Tara Silver Stems in
peacock blue which I have
broken up into several pieces & scattered here & there.
Next I added some purple Skeleton Leaves to highlight the wings.

Here I have used another one of the many Green Tara ribbons,
this beautiful Shimmer Threaded Ribbon in a midnight blue.
This is the most gorgeous ribbon. I love love love it.
Midnight blue teamed with purple, a match made in heaven.
I have also used some of our beautiful new fabric flowers,
the Primula & Heirloom flowers, both in purple
& a few little roses thrown in for good measure.
In my top flower cluster I have used another piece of my
Twisted Cord as well as a Sakura flower & another one
of the new Green Tara flowers, the purple one is called a
 Lollipop flower.
In this photo you can see a close up of one of their sweet little
Rainforest Butterflies in Lavender with a few
roses which I misted to get the correct colour
& finally some mini flowers scattered around.

Again my chipboard word is from my favourite,
2 Crafty Chipboard.

"Dream"

This was a layout I did months ago, some of you may have seen it way
back then, but I am in the habbit lately of changing things!!!
When Green Tara got their latest release of NEW flowers,
as soon as I saw these little Primulas in this lovely soft
green, I took off the ones I previously had on there & popped
these ones on instead. They really look much better!!!
Well I think they do.

I have  used some gorgeous Green Tara lime Bud N Bow trim
as well as one of the many Green Tara laces.
This beautiful pink flower is one called Heirloom, these comes in
lots of gorgeous colours. I have also used lots of their Roses as well as
some little Rosebuds tucked in here & there.

Again all of my chipboard, including this gorgeous corner,
Title & my sweet little frame, are all from 2 Crafty Chipboard.
Lots of stencilling & misting on my background to create
a backdrop as well as lots of distressing to finish off with.

Well thats all from me today. I hope I have inspired you a
little, to use some fabulous Green Tara flowers & trims on
your next project.
All of the Green Tara products I have used here are
listed on my post over on the Green Tara blog.
Until next time.
