Well the beginning of the month brings us a NEW challenge over on the
The October challenge ….
So this months challenge is to use a black background
& to be inspired by some sort of costume!!!
I found this fabulous photo on the internet, with the most
amazing headdress & I just knew it would be perfect for this challenge
& so I have created a real "FANTASY" layout.
I have created a lovely mixed media background which I knew
would really POP on the black.
Lots of mediums & some fabulous Lindy's Gang spray.
Some awesome 2Crafty Chipboard pieces which I have heat embossed in gold.
I think the "HERO" piece on my layout would have to be these gorgeous
brass metal wings !!! I have been dying to use them.
I think the other "HERO" piece on my layout are these fabulous,
super old, Prima resin type flowers with gold trim.
I have had them in my stash for about eight years & I was always waiting
for just the right thing to use them on!! Well this was it & I couldn't be
happier with how they look.
Well there is my take on this months MTW challenge.
Black with lots of sprakle, shimmer & glitter.
